It's Liam Hemsworth, brother of Chris. Does a really good job in the movie.
I haven't seen Sex and the City either, but I know women are crazy after it.
Finally seen the whole trilogy on Netflix. I can now die peacefully.
Very interesting. Almost like a waking dream, where some parts are lucid and others are amorphous. Some of the graphics were incredibly detailed, yet the boy and bird characters didn't have strong definition. It's cel-shading, right? I think just some stronger lines would have helped. The sound design, though, was amazing! Especially around the bridge.
It's a good movie just to fall into and watch.
I saw it at the cinema, looked wonderful on a big screen. Certainly one of the most striking animated films I've seen for ages.

The Shining was on again last night. Kubrick was brilliant, and this is no exception, but I understand now a thing I'd read, that King's dislike (initially, anyway) of Jack's portrayal had mostly to do with Jack's Jim Carrey-level facial gesticulations, almost clowning. If you watch it again, his face is almost always moving. (I imagine cocaine will do that for you.)
More people need to see this, what a great little horror film it is.

Peter Hyams made so many fun films across a bunch of different genres, this could be one of his best. Plus his son could turn out pretty good as well, he made Alone which came out this year, a great little thriller.

Saw the new Borat film on Amazon Prime with my wife. We both liked it and thought it was funny but both agree the first was better. Decent subsequent moviefilm though.
