In the same night I watched The Mule and Holmes and Watson.

Dudes, I couldn't get out of that theater fast enough to get back to the bar. Will Ferrell and what's his name ran me out before the ending. Holmes and Watson has got to be the worst movie ever made. Don't see it. Don't even suggest this to be a watch a bad movie. You will never get that hour and half back in your life.

Mule was good. Clint never shakes your interest.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

I loved this. Animation, story, humour, voices - everything was near-perfect. Definitely going to watch it again. 9/10, instantly one of my favourite movies of 2018.

Aquaman (2018)

Great references to fiction that involves the ocean, a believable great twist, wonderful looking animals including the Sharks Whales Seahorses, impressive terrific locations including Atlantis and the Atlantis Coliseum, awesome looking monsters, excellent costumes that match the comic book characters including Mera, terrific underwater and out of water action scenes, also other nice action scenes including Aquaman fighting the 2 Main Super Villains in separate scenes, exciting great chase scenes a high amount action high stakes climax, great music that fits the scenes including for dramatic serious scenes, 3 dimensional characters with believable motives both villains and heroes, a straight forward story, drama, a great ending, character development for multiple characters. 10/10

The Spy Who Dumped Me (2018)

Surprisingly violent for a comedy, ppl are getting shot stabbed tortured mangled and murdered left and right oh my!

This movie is just a guilty pleasure, kind of basic and 'been there done that', but there's an appealing vibe thanks to chemistry between Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon.

Jupiter Ascending (2015)
It still feels a bit goofy and messy and cringy, but I can't help but be fond of the rich sci-fi world building. I gained a little more respect for it watching some of the special features. I didn't realize Terry Gilliam had a little cameo during the big bureaucratic nightmare part. The visuals are still great. I just wonder if the film might have been a little better if they hadn't tried to make it so much of an action film. It seemed like it needed a slower pace and to really build the worlds and draw you in. But of course then it would have been REALLY hard to market it.
