What is the greatest single TV episode of all time.....?

Frasier: Ham Radio
https://frasier.fandom.com/wiki/Ham_Radio

Most Frasier episodes are great, but this was particularly epic. I watched it multiple times and it had me in stiches every viewing:ROFLMAO:
The clip doesn't do it justice, the entire episode is littered with Chekov's guns from the first act - brilliantly written and acted.
Being a radio drama, it even works as an audiobook!

The GOAT TV episode.

Fawlty Towers: Basil The Rat.

Just a fragment:

As John Cleese himself said: this episode was a true team effort. 🤣

Game of Thrones, S06, E09 - Battle of The Bastards

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
I'M PICKLE RICK!!!

This is regarded as one of the best Community episodes of all time (along with the paintball ones), so that's saying a lot.
You don't even need to have watched the series to enjoy it. I'd recommend you check it out while it's still up - they rotate out the full episodes in about a week or two.

No one? If you haven't seen it before, it's worth a view!

GOAT Community Ep ever! (Paintballs and Chaos theory a close second though)

Check it out while they still have it up - Any gamers will LOVE IT!

It's A Good Life (1961) Season 3 of The Twilight Zone

It's copied, referenced, stolen from, then copied again. Hell...it's the only anthology TV episode I know of that spawned a sequel. That's a sequel episode, NOT a spin-off series like Mork. It was impactful for its time as being both scary and nearly serio-comic. Plus it stars Cloris Leachman...a legendary actress who was nominated for a drama Oscar AND influential in the wacky world of Mel Brooks...as well as the costar of one of the greatest sitcoms in TV history.

S1E1 Lost.

Because it got millions hooked on a show that, due to the writer's strike of 2007, will never actually be resolved. It's like a glorious trainwreck... along those same lines, though..

Carnivale, Deadwood and the like. (Stargate Universe, why did you go away?!) Very likeable, and yet very 'LOST'.

Another contender. The final episode of the original Quantum Leap.
Everything comes full circle and Sam leaps into Al's home as himself and tells his wife he's alive in Vietnam and he will return.
