Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
Commodores "Commdores" and Andy Gibb's "Blood is thicker than water"

the Commodores album had "Brickhouse" on it. Still questioning myself on the Andy Gibb selection. Soon after, it was Kiss "Love Gun"

The first album I ever bought...not given or borrowed, but BOUGHT was actually 4 Iron Maiden albums on cassette.
"The Number of the Beast",
"Somewhere in Time",
"Seventh Son of a Seventh Son",
and the live album "Live After Death" (which I bought by mistake, because I thought it was a 'best of' compilation...Yes, it has the word 'Live' in the title, but I misread it and thought it said "Life After Death". I think I was also drawn in by the cool artwork: Eddie coming out of his grave in the middle of a lightning storm. Metal. Anyway, I was far from sorry once I listened to it. :banger:
They were one of the first bands I ever listened to and 20 years later they're still one of my favorites.

The Fat Boys - Crushin" (1986)
BTW Disorderlies is on of the best stupid comedies I have ever seen. ;)

I bought my first cd player in 1987 and the first cd was from Duran Duran "Seven and the ragged tiger."

:eeew:

I remember the first LP I bought was Hank Williams Jr.- Greatest Hits. I only had about ten LP's before I went cassettes. At one point I had over 850 cassette tapes. I had everything from Hank, Jr. to Black Sabbath to Howlin' Wolf to Ice Cube. I finally went to CD's about the time that Skynyrd came out with the boxed set. Now I have about 750.
