What If Porn Were Made Illegal Tomorrow?

What if, all across the world, governments made a joint decision to outlaw pornography. If a person from that day on was found in posession of anything pornographic, a prision sentence would follow. So, what I'm asking is what would you do? Would you immediatly delete every bit of porn on your PC or would you find ways of hiding it? Would you be unable to give it up?

I'm not sure what I'd do, maybe keep some of the best stuff i've got but delete the rest...

I'd start a group kinda like firemen. But instead of putting out fires, we'd start fires. We'd burn all the porn dvd's and magazines and tapes in existence, including the houses they are being held in. Anybody caught hiding any porn would be sent to jail. It would be for the good of humanity. But one day, I accidentally watch one of the dvd's I'm supposed to be burning. It changes my life. I become sickened with the state of society. I would eventually steal all sorts of dvd's and magazines and hide them in my house, because I fear my family would call the authorities. I'd watch them all every day, trying to memorize them and preserve their contents for as long as I live, so that I could share them with others long after the dvd's have been destroyed. Eventually, my fireman boss catches on that I have been watching the dvd's that I am supposed to be destroying, and a chase ensues. He programs his robot hound dog to hunt me down. TV crews film the chase. All of a sudden, planes fly over the city and bomb it? WTF?? I end up living a nomadic life with a group of people who love porn and want to rebuild a porn accepting society.

This should be a book. amirite?

i wouldn't do anything. do you think the police in the current economic climate have the time and resources to go knocking on doors to find porn? i'm sure you'll find a few raids where the police know they will find lots of porn to share with their friends back at the police station but i don't think the average man in the street would have much to worry about. it's the people that work in the industry that would be in real shit. they would all be classified by law and treated the same as a prostitute. :2 cents:

I know it's a hypothetical but it won't ever happen because as the saying goes; sex sells, I think all of us are proof of that. The four strongest needs we have as human beings are sex, connection, food, and shelter and the simple fact is that nothing can ever change human nature.
