What game are you waiting for?

Half-Life 3

The things is, I don't think there will be a game called Half-Life 3.:dunno: Valve is thinking of their HL2 aftermath episodic trilogy as HL3. Episode 1 was loads of fun to play. I gotta say I love the Half-Life games. By far the best FPS games ever made.:2 cents:

Right now I am waiting for what Valve is calling the Orange Box. It will consist of Half-Life 2: Episode 2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal.

Other than that I can hardly wait for Halo 3. And Super Smash Brothers: Brawl for the Wii is going to kick some serious ass.

Legend of zelda Phantom Hourglass. I preordered that game almost a year ago, they keep pushing it back!!

MGS4, Haze, COD4, UT3, Tekken 6, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, FFXIII, Heavenly Sword, Lair, GT5, GTA4, Killzone 2, Soul Calibur 4, Drake's Uncharted, Ratchet & Clank:TOD, God of war 3 are just a few of the games I'm waiting for

1) The next Elder Scrolls game.

2) Starcraft 2

3) Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Provided what you say is the gospel truth (which I highly doubt), you might wanna tell the developer of the game. It seems that, uh, Nibris is still promoting the project on their web-site. :hatsoff:

Nibris - Developer of Sadness

Sadness Video Game - www.Google.com

Well, as someone who works in the game industry, I like to think I have a fairly good grasp of what's going on with Nibris. For one, we haven't seen any actual footage of the game in the two years since they first announced it. Then there's the fact that the company who were co-developing the project severed the business relationship.

Not to mention the fact that I haven't received a press release from them since 2006, because they're doing all their press on the IGN forums.

It's vaporware. You can "highly doubt" me all you want, but it doesn't make the game any more real.

Care to back yours up? Okay, you claim to be in the industry? Um, how could you miss this then? This was released in APRIL of this year.

Exclusive - Recent reports revealed how Nibris had lost Frontline Studio's as its development partner for the upcoming project Sadness, and for some pessimists, this put the future of the title into doubt. Now, the ambitious company has very kindly informed us that the recent changes are nothing to fret about, and has indicated that the project is going ahead as previously planned.

Nibris, due to artistic differences, formally ended negotiations with Frontline on 17th March. However, they have already located themselves a new partner, the identity of which is currently unknown.

"We would like to apologize for rumors and doubts that might have arisen," the company informed us. "We want to assure, that Nibris ltd. makes great effort to make our projects completely innovative and meeting highest quality standards."

Sadness is a highly mysterious title set in pre-World War One Eastern Europe. You play the role of a woman, Maria, determined to protect the life of your young narcoleptic son as Werewolves and other terrifying creatures attempt to hunt you down. You must capitalize on the wielding ways of the remote to defend yourself against the vast array of enemies.

Expect an offical press release later this week - for now, just rejoice that the project is firmly on track.

Keep it locked with Cubed³ for more future exclusives..

Well, you could possibly list a site with credibility, if you wanted. Cubed3 are a tiny Euro site who have clearly been drawn into Nibris' den of lies - where's that "official" press release detailing the latest on the game, then? I realise that was April, but we're almost in July now, and I haven't heard anything about the game since then.

I notice they're not at E3, for example. Nor have they had anything posted about them on sites like 1UP, Gamasutra, IGN, Gamespot, etc.

You know, the credible ones, that won't post just anything to get hits.

No one in the industry - that is, people who don't work for blogs - believes that this game is actually being produced. We've seen nothing to prove it, yet we've seen plenty to make us doubt its existence.

I mean, really: I used to get press releases from them with the subject "PRESS RELASE FROM NIBRIS". That's not a serious developer.

The Siege of Khe Sanh. I wanna see 360 go to Nam.
