What Every U.S. State Is Best at

What Maryland, Nebraska, North Dakota and Virginia are known for surprise me. If I was in Hawaii, I would be mad if that is what I was known for. At least give them the most Spam consumed.

Some of them are funny, but I had to chuckle at Hawaii's listed trait. Michigan is probably in the running if not in the top spot for the opposite of that.

I would think because of the shoreline and dealing with the Great Lakes and the weather that could be possible. Most of the Lighthouses on the East Coast are gone from development, erosion, etc.

Interesting. I didn't know Nevada had any hot springs, let alone the most. But we also get most revenue from casinos, not Pennsylvania. I mean, c'mon...let's be real here.

I know the Tahoe area has Volcanic activity there which would explain the hot springs (I didn't know about the most). For PA, I don't know. Even if you go per capita, I would think NV would still be higher. Maybe per Casino in relation to the total revenue?

New York may have the highest salaries, but it's also one of the most expensive cities to live in or visit. Although of course that's for the whole state, not just the city, but still.

And LOL at the state with the most indoor plumbing! That's a little sad if that's all they're best at.

While I looked up hot springs (and got educated) I also looked up casino revenue. But I'm not going to delve deeper for a cartoon map.

I thought I heard somewhere that New Jersey grows more blueberries than anyone else. If true, I would have gone with that over smokeless tobacco usage.

And I'll add to Animus' goodwill vote for Oregon. With the onset of spring, I'm switching over to Mirror Pond Pale Ale from Deschutes Brewing of Bend, OR.

California, most breast fed babies, huh? Do we have more hungry babies or are our ladys' titties out here just that irresistible? Their implants must be made by Alta Dena.

"Fewest accidental deaths"

Of course, because most deaths in Baltimore are more often deliberate than accidental.

I also saw on the Travel Channel they also have the most diners.

How can we forget toll booths and bowling alleys. I'd mention stink but that can't be measured.

WA? Bicycle friendly? Really? Apparently they only looked at the west side of the state because it's like taking your life into your own hands on the east side.

Wisconsin is bike friendly with networks of road bike routes and great single track for mountain bikes in the Northwoods, Milwaukee is bike friendly with bike trails with the Hank Aaron Trail line the main one.

Otherwise if in Chicago rent a bike at North Av Beach and ride the lakefront trail with no obstructions onto city streets the entire 40 miles it runs on Lake Michigan.
