Three lullabies in an ancient tongue
With all the rule changes after the strike year, it has been hard for me to get excited about the NHL again. I really don't like the new rules at all except for the shootout. It has opened up way too much scoring and I predict it will make a mockery of existing scoring records in a few years if things don't change. All things considered, give me the pre-strike NHL anytime over what we have now.
Maybe I'm old fashioned but, hey, what can I say.
