I am excited we broke the racial barrier to the presidency but I think a lot of people are expecting him to be very different from other politicians. The fact of the matter is he is also first and foremost a politician. His past scares me a little and I am not too optimistic about his presidency but I will give him the benefit of the doubt for the time being.

Obama is an excellent public-speaker but that alone doesn't qualify you for President. His speeches he gave is what caused a lot of people to vote for him but did he really say much in those speeches. I kept hearing this word "Change" Did Obama ever define what "Change" we were going to see or how we would achieve it? Don't think so. Obama will be no different than any other politician. People who think he is the Messiah because of all these promises he has made, are going to be heartbroken when they don't come true. First you say what the people want you to hear to get you elected then you do what the people want you to do to get you re-elected. It's that simple. It's not about us, it's about the polticians and there big egos.
