What did you think about 2010 for video games?

Definite highlight was God of War 3 and Reach (although I don't bother with multi-player). I haven't played it but I noticed that even Tomb Raider Guardian of Light has online or co-op now. I hope they haven't screwed that up that franchise as well. ... BTW does anyone know the exact date Gears 3 will be out.

I liked a lot of games that came out in 2010. Just Cause 2 because you can do whatever you want in a free-roaming GTA type world. I like parachuting after jumping off a motorcycle.

Red Dead Redemption was sweet. I like Undead Nightmare too.

God of War III I still haven't had a chance to play it yet. I may start it next week.

Dead Rising 2. I like making the combo weapons. I'm at a part where I can run like 30 zombies over with a golf cart. Parts of the game remind me of Day of the Dead by George Romero.

Medal of Honor. Whenever there is a new Medal of Honor game, I will always buy it. I have beaten every game released.

This year I'm waiting for Dead Space 2, Gears of War 3, and Uncharted 3: Drake's Inception.

Yeah thanks for that. I heard "fall 2011" but was just curious. I saw the teaser trailers and the demo they did at E3. It looks awesome, especially with the new lambent enemies

Yea I saw the demo at E3 as well. Beast mode seems like it will be sweet. Myself and 4 four friends went through all 50 waves of the Horde mode on the hardest difficulty in Gears 2. Hopefully Beast mode will be as sweet as Horde mode.

It was no 1998 or 2008, but I thought 2010 was an okay year for gaming.

Personal favorites: Red Dead Redemption, Just Cause 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. It's unfortunate that Fallout: New Vegas and Fable III didn't live up to expectations, but I still look forward to playing them eventually. I also plan on playing BioShock 2 and Darksiders one of these days.

I would like to see a lot more originality as opposed to pumping out sequels even though I do enjoy story continuations

A new big game from Rockstar is coming out this year, L.A Noir, set in 1947.
