Badlands is an interesting 1980's Metal Band. Ray Gillen, the singer, was a former Black Sabbath frontman between Glenn Hughes and Tony Martin. The Eternal Idol album was written for him in mind. There is an excellent demo which is included in the post. Jake E. Lee was Ozzy's guitarist after Randy Rhodes with impossible shoes to fill so he started his own band too. I found the first album to be a stand-out when compared to other "Hair Metal" bands of the era. RIP Ray Gillen.
