Aces.

I mean, The Clash.... they were no Queen, but who is, right?

Hmm. Perhaps that time I was a bit too subtle.

You want Queen? I'll give you Queen:

To be honest, after out little 'tiff' and finding out about you and VB, I was sort of expecting you to give me a response more like this:

I got it.

I was actually listening to Call Me, Maybe earlier but it was out of humour because of what happened to Peter Odemwingie and the words that were made up to fit it.

Context for non-football fans - Peter Odemwingie was a striker for West Brom. He heard that QPR were putting a transfer bid in for him, and rather than wait for the two clubs to agree a deal, he actually drove to QPR's ground so he could be there to discuss terms when the two teams agree. Hilariously, as stories of "Odemwingie is in the QPR car park" were hitting the airways, it emerged that talks between the two clubs had broken down, and Peter had driven down to London for nothing.

Thus, the song forever to me will be :

(Hey) I just drove here...
And this is crazy...
I'm in your car park...
so sign me, maybe.

You probably have to be a football fan to appreciate it.

Mmm. And European too.

While we're on the topic of parodies, "Should I Stay or Should I Go" has a different meaning for me that I'm not even gonna try to explain to those who don't know, ditto the "You Don't Own Me," which until today, I thought was a parody.
