Why do rappers always use aliases? Are they ashamed of their work? I would think that, if they were proud of what they do, they would want everyone to know exactly who they are and proudly go by their real names. It's hard to respect these guys when they're hiding behind make believe characters, sampling other people's hard-worked music, while at the same time claiming to be 'real'.
With pornstars, I understand the use of aliases for security reasons and so their families don't get hassled, etc., so that's different.
Also, why are they always squinting. Why are they always flinging their arms around like they're trying to flick a booger? What's with their obsession with being seen as rich?
...What's a hypotenuse?

Ahh, its a different genre of music, the use of aliases are just the same as a band not wanting there real names to be exposed or known over there bands name or there nickname... I guess squinting is just a concentration thing.. flailing of arms is an emotional/emphasized extension of ones intensity, even lead singers in bands do it.. its a part of the excited hysteria that one tries to create when there doing there thing... I mean for example look @ the lead singer for "Five Finger Death Punch" he's very animated and sometimes does the same things your questioning as far as rappers go.. and I know allot of Rock fans / heavy metal fans will take a step back and say yeah he's got a point, but if your a fan of "Rage Against the Machine" Zack essentially does a lot of rapping and he too is very animated and does the same things as rappers do while he's on stage, difference is he also has a singing voice, a talking voice, and a rapping voice, that's used behind Rock music..

I grew up loving all music, and I have great respect for all types/genres of music.. not every genre uses the exact same styles and there form of music won't be accepted by everybody, but if you love music that's whats so great about it.. there's always something else to appreciate when your tired of the same stuff over and over.. etc... I don't know if I answered your questions the way you wanted, but I don't really understand what the big deals is?? :dunno: There are different genre's for different groups of people that don't stereo-type all music, NOT saying that's what you do or are doing MC.. I am just trying to answer or in my own words help you understand what I think your asking.. and I don't know what or where you got hypotenuse from? I hope I addressed your questions my friend. :D:glugglug:

...and Thank you, Marlo Manson, my monkey armed friend. ;)

I'll probably always have a problem with these things. I know there are some people in Metal/Rock who use fake names, too, and I have a problem with those as well, but it almost seems like a must for rap.
It's true that each genre has its own types of movement. I find the rap gestures to be funny.
I'm not against liking all kinds of music that's out there. I've lived long enough to have tried repeatedly to 'open my mind' to rap and it's just not for me...at all. That, dance, techno, country, not for me. I don't stop others from listening to it, though, so I'm glad you didn't get all overly defensive like others might've. :glugglug:
I know I listen to things many others don't like. Not just metal, classic rock, but also blues, jazz, classical, etc.

Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?
i'm listening to some very sad music right now. my father died one day before his 68th b-day so it's been a sad week.

I am Very sorry to hear about your Father Chica... My dad died 30 yrs ago May 1.. (I had to have my dog humanely euthanized on the same day he was 17 & half years old) he was having seizures on top of the fact he was deaf and blind.. so trust me I know your pain all too well, and I sincerely hope/wish you all the best and your pain and grieving eventually subsides with time. May god bless Chica's Father and allow him too R.I.P. in eternal happiness!!:angels: :drawheart:
