Well actually you technically CAN. If you put it in the tea and let it fall apart and turn into mush, you can drink it. Also it that state it would become a semi-solid, meaning that part of it WOULD be liquid; which as we all know in this thread is drinkable. So the OP is technically still on topic. Also you could put the toast in a blender with some liquid and have a toast smoothie. :2 cents:

Well when I visited Paris I got tea (wasn't an alky back then, lol :dunno that came with this super hard bread. So I tried to eat it and damn near broke a tooth on it. Looking around I saw that everybody was dunking it into the tea to make it softer. It's actually a pretty good combo! :dunno:
