Look at the Golden State killer case. Major network spends a shit ton of cash on a mini series........then geneology.com comes along, and boom goes the dynamite. I guess we still have a little false hope left with D.B. Cooper too. They're still clearing Green River killer cases. He's obligated to plead guilty to any and all he's done, to avoid the needle. Then this other fucking baby killing scumbag, rodney alcala that avoided the death penalty for decades, finally gets it, and dies in prison, from a heart problem, and not the needle. They still get leads and runaways attributed to him to, because of a website they put up.
