I know i'm on a board primarily to discuss women but this is what I see:
A bomb goes off killing people, a terrorist attack. Then for a day or 2 you got people posting " My condolences" posts.
Now out of all the thousands of people on this board it's basically come down to me following up on what and why it happened and 2 other guys telling me I'm wrong even though they don't even know for sure.
I guess it's reached the point in this country where people just are complacent about muslims commiting acts of terrorism on our soil. And like Europe afraid or just trained not to speak about it. Muslims who we let into this country with open arms. Kids being blown up on the street.
people should be pissed. Demanding answers and responsibilty, wanting stricter immigration laws and procedures more muslims before it happens again. wanting political correctness destroyed .But no, nothing. Just another day in ignorance and complacency.

You may not hold much credence in what they told the US GOV, but we do know they told them to watch this guy, he's been radicalized.
so the FBI did check him out.......but only before he went back to Russia again. after that nothing. Why didn't they keep on him? And look what happened.
I am for the constitution and our rights it protects, And the FBI has said it acting within the limits of the attorney general guidelines.
just what are these guidelines? Maybe they should be tightened before anymore 8 year old children get blown up instead of concentrating so much on making it harder for law biding Americans to get guns.
if they just checked his internet records they would have found out what he was. And the law says they can, Obama passed that one.
And as far as the Franklin quote, that is true. But we are talking about A- foreign immigrants in a time of radical jihadist muslims growing like weeds.
It's not about the constitution, it's about immigration laws and homeland security procedures making sure we know who the hell were letting in. And if there is even a sign that they might be radicals, check them out all the way.
FBI, CIA , NSA, Boston JTF, State police, city police......nobody picked up on this guy?

And I guess Americans are now ok with an occasional bombing from radical jihadist muslims here and there, once in a while, but I ain't.
Maybe it's gotta happen a bunch more times before the people insist that the GOV step it up a little. or maybe they gotta know somebody who gets blown up and killed or maimed before they care more.
What should i expect with a PREZ who refuses to even admit there is a problem.

You expect the government, that you don't trust, to start predicting the future in terms of what a guy, in this instance Tamerlan Tsarnaev, is going to do at some point in the future. Yeah, explain that one to me. By the way, standing on a dead child attempting to make a point is pretty low.

bottom line is the guy was here on a visa. If were gonna let Muslims into this country so easily ( which is what we do) in this day and age then they should at least be checked out and if there is any sign of a problem they should be checked out more and if need be deported forever.
If they can't do that, close the borders to muslims....all people from that part of he world. It's just not worth the risk.

I didn't respond to this immediately because I wanted it to sit there and fester for a while.

Apparently Tsarnaev caught the attention of the Russians. Ok, fine, but then he was checked out by our intelligence agencies and they didn't find anything. These guys can't predict the future. If these two hadn't committed any crimes at the time they were checked and cleared by the FBI, CIA, or whoever, then the system worked how it's supposed to. As good our intelligence agencies are, they can't predict the future, and you're one of the motherfuckers that would be screaming that the government was overreaching if they had taken any preemptive action against them.

So you want to blame all Muslims for the actions of Muslim extremists. That's just peachy, typical, prejudiced and bigoted right-wing bullshit, why am I not surprised?
