Watching real life rape at a high school

Why would people just sit there and watch it happen? Does society not care at all and they'll probably just get a 2 year prison sentence and released in 10 days since the American justice system doesn't do much. She'll have to live with it the rest of her life.

Whoever was involved in this I say send them to a prison... San Quentin or whatever! Either way, let them find out what the fuck they did in the fucking shower stalls with other inmates!

My guess is this had something to do with gangs in the area so those that watched either had gang affiliation OR are too cowed by the gangs. I know we don't know all the facts, but knowing the area that's a very plausable conclusion.

It's not that people don't care, it's that people don't want to be sued for being a good samaratin. If you stop and try to help the person that has been hit and you do something that aggrivates his injuries, he can sue you.

Some states are changing the laws to help protect good samaratins more, but sadly for the most part, if you help and the person finds cause that you hurt them more, you're fucked. It's sad that our society has come to this.

It is tuff enough to have gotten raped - I have talked to a lot of women or girls about this who were really graphic how this messes up your life - but a open mass rape with actual people watching and joining is something that has to be severely punished.

And there are places that give those guys the same experience, and those are the prisons that all of them should be thrown in for at least ten years.
