Was wondering if recurring subscrition is a standard on all paysites?

I want to register on this site:
http://www.adultmovieclub.com/

But I read in the terms of service that the membership is recurring, this means they will keep billing me month after month after I "cancel my membership"
But to cancel membership they put links to 3x sites. Here is the quote.

My questions are:
Are these sites legit?
Is my account information safe to give them?
And how much problems am I going to need to go through in order to cancel membership?

I apologize if my concerns are a bit noobish, but this is first time I am doing this so just wanted to consult you guys about the whole thing.

How can I cancel my membership?
Solution The easiest way to cancel your membership is to use the cancel form directly located below.

Paycom/Epoch Primary Credit Card companies
Cancel form http://www.billingsupport.com

CCBIILL Secondary Credit Card companies
Cancel form https://support.ccbill.com

Online Check Processor
Cancel form http://www.achdebit.com/customer_support.html

Note: After you've cancelled, you’ll still have access to the website for the entire time you paid for until the billing cycle ends. Cancelling your account simply stops the reoccurence of future charges.
The access is not cancelled immediately upon cancellation. Website access will be denied only after your paid access period has ended.

If you have trouble cancelling contact us using the contact us link below, providing as much information as possible so we can locate your membership.

We hope that you enjoyed the site

Unfortunately, recurring billing is a standard. There are some one-time billers out there.

Some sites, not all, sell your information to advertisers.

Yes, it may be difficult to cancel on many sites. Either they don't provide a clear set of directions to cancel or they make very complicated and you have to jump through hoops.

You have to do your research by reading as many reviews of the site that you can possibly find.

Those are just the different ways you can pay. (Epoch has been good for me.) If you cancel your subscription they will not bill you any more. They will continue billing you and you will have access to the site until you cancel.
Most of the sites are legit. Check out reviews at thebestporn.com.
Epoch is pretty good with billing and cancelling memberships. I've been using them for years now with no problems.
Did you check out PayOnes(aka Videobox)? That is an awesome site!

GOOD LUCK!

You are incorrect about what "recurring membership" means. If the site is legit, all it means is that your membership will be automatically renewed AS LONG AS you DON'T cancel. Once you cancel, they will not bill you any further, as long as they are legit.

My questions are:
Are these sites legit?
I don't have any experience with this site, so I really don't know.
Is my account information safe to give them?
That really deals with whether they are legit or not. It is hard to say.

Well, the billing options to cancel your membership look somewhat familiar to me, so I would at least say that those sites should give you no problem.

I would recommend to see if Freeones or any other sources has reviews of this particular site and that should definitely tell you whether they are legit or not.

Also, you can cancel the day that you purchase the membership. You'll still get your full month of viewing. The reason you would do this, is so you know for sure you won't get rebilled.

When I have in the past subscribed to a paysite I usually take the option to subscribe under their non-recurring offer. It does mean that the subscription period is of a longer duration, namely 3 months. I have only experience of CCBill.

I would be extremely cautious if a paysite ONLY offered a recurring option and nothing else.

I see more and more [adult] websites offering non-recurring billing as an option, but you will probably get billed $15-$20 dollars more instead of the usual $29.99 recurring monthly subscriptions out there.

In the worse case scenario, you need to keep your canceled request emails and then you call your credit card lender dispute the charges and the website will get a charge back. Not good for them.

I recently signed up to Brazzers $10/month anniversary promo. You can't beat that with a bat. :)

Thanks guys for taking time to shed some light on this. Now at least I have some idea about how it really works.
