War, what is it good for?

Trump administration floats plans to push Jordan and Egypt to accept

There you go! civillians move out, and shed the permanent refugee lifestyle that made them stay in their supportive road for Hamas, trade that for a permanent life as a self-supporting citizen in their new countries.

After that, the "Ben Gurion Canal Project" could bring peace to that end of the ongoing wars in the area.

First question: Who is going to give financial support to Jordan & Egypt to take the entire population of Gaza?

They could get by on a fraction of what is paid for annually for the inhabitants of Gaza, anyway. So, everybody wins. So, easily doable.

Maybe the Palenstinians can get a new homeland out of this misery - like Israel got after WW2. Of course, the Palestine Mandate and the Balfour Declaration started the process post-WW1.

Israel's neighbors can rise to the occasion and provide some territory for the Palestinians to use. In addition to Jordan and Egypt, Syria might be able to help. Or Iran who seems to provide material support for Hamas.

Who needs Netanyahu when Trump is in office? Here's the 21st Century Marshall Plan: the US takes possession of Gaza and redevelops it.

“The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job — whether we’ll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site, level the site, and get rid of the destroyed buildings, level it out. Create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing for the people of the area, do a real job, do something different ... I do see a long-term ownership position."

Is Trump playing Risk by acquiring Canada, Gaza, Greenland, and the Panama Canal?

The key question here - who is he referring to when he says "the people of the area"?

The thing with the US invading Canada and Greenland - It would be a stronger military force invading a vast frigid country.
Ask the Nazis how that went with Operation Barbarossa.

I think we can confidently say he did not mean anyone living there on October 6, 2023.

Israel shatters Gaza ceasefire as more than 400 Palestinians killed in IDF strikes

https://www.theguardian.com/world/l...log-updates-air-strikes-strip-netanyahu-hamas

Can't blame Hamas for this one. Not a single rocket fired by them.

Israel claims to be at war with Hamas but uses Hamas as an excuse to level the entire Gaza Strip killing as many Gazans as they can leaving the area uninhabitable for any survivors. I hope Israel's ambitions get the best of them stretching out their military too thin and they fall flat on their face trying to construct Greater Israel. Israel will eliminate Christians just like they would Muslims if they were to get in the way of their plans.

Aren't the muslims trying to eradicate the jews? It sure looks that way, and I would be willing to bet that, if hamas had the fire power Israel does, they would have been doing the same thing.

I won't argue with that except for the fact that neither of us are Muslim or Jew and I don't think either of them would run to our rescue if we were in trouble either.

No argument there either except... who would be their Sugar Daddy? Would Hamas have the ability to buy an Executive & Legislative Branch of a large country's government like Israel owns our White House & Congress? I give the Devil its due. Those Israelis are smart giving millions then getting billions.

Hamas(Islamists) originally were spawned from the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. When they set up shop in Israel Mossad saw benefit and an opportunity so they helped them out so they could pit them against the PLO(Nationalists).

I see a lot of elegant people from NATO, EU, and other European leaders giving amazing inspirational speeches so carefully picking their words and enunciating with such class and style letting us know Russia is on the ropes, their military is in shambles, and their economy has been cratered but, at the same time, Russia is on the march and will reconstruct the Soviet Union and become an existential threat to all of Europe if we don't act now. A great and necessary sacrifice, a valiant crusade from a "coalition of the willing" but how many kids from these sociopath's homes will they be willing to sacrifice? I don't think they'd stick their necks out any further than putting a flag pin on their coat. They claim to care about Ukraine but keep pushing on a daily basis for more Ukrainians to die. They care more about degrading Russia than helping Ukraine. If anybody "sold out" Ukraine it is them as they continue their money laundering operation.

A - You and especially british media take "Gaza Health Ministry" (aka: Hamas) numbers at their face value?

B - It is not Israel that ended the ceasefire. The agreement was agreed to run in three stages, each going 42 days, starting on January, 19th, 2025. Hamas broke the agreements by numerous agreements, namely in staging pr scenarios out of simple hostage handovers, but not stopping there. And they keep holding back hostages, in order to make time to milk goods and more fighters from israel prisons, and stock up for their next terror attacks.

Regarding where the arabs from Gaza can go: Where they came from, gypt, Syria, and where the Arabs of the region got their own land: Jordan. But really, there are muslim countries all over the world. The self-named palestinians just would have to learn to exist without terror leadership, jihad, and international help.

We can certainly argue who "broke the agreements", but what is undisputable is which side restarted the violence. No media or government in world, not even the Isrealis, are accusing Hamas of firing the first shot which broke the ceasefire.

It isn't really the point who fired the first shot. The abuse of both the hostages and the few gazans not complicite in the jihad against israel is the key.

The enduring charade only meant the next attacks against israel would be as bad as october, 7th. So, better strike and make the jihadists give up the rest of the hostages.

Even you know that's not true. If Hamas was the one that fired the first shot which broke the ceasefire, you would not be saying that.

More to the point, If they were not happy with the ways things were going, the appropriate response would have been "Fine, we won't release the Palestinian prisoners, and we won't withdraw from Gaza until we reach an agreement on Phase 2".

It's weird the Iran nuclear situation has never been discussed honestly. What is Iran's motive for building nuclear weapons? Obviously because their enemy, Israel, has them and Israel has made provocative and threatening statements toward Iran that made them concerned. Wouldn't the best way to deter Iran from building nuclear weapons be to take away the motive for them to get nuclear weapons? The solution is to get Israel on board getting rid of their nuclear weapons and allow inspectors to verify that. If that was to be done that is when the calm may come. Obviously again, that will not happen. People get scolded for "moral equivalency" when they don't allow double standards when it comes to the entitled Israelis. Israel will continue to corrupt our government through their lobbies and bagmen with cash for diplomatic cover as well.

Or why is it that the US has no problem if North Korea has nukes?
