It's "darker", more realistic in my opinion and, it is directed by a German and acted with Germans. I don't want to give any of it away, all I can say id it's the best film ever concerning Hitler and his staff, as far as I'm concerned.

I hope you give it a chance. I bet you will like it. I've watched it twice... on NETFLIX.

I saw Downfall ages ago. It was a pretty decent movie. I'd take it over the likes of some so-called amazing mainstream Hollywood WW2 movies.
