Too many horror stories of billing issues scared me away from even a trial. You don't know how many hoops you have to jump through just to get them to stop billing. There has to be thousands of posts on this site alone about this subject.

Bingo. It's a zero-risk, 100% private way to get a trial subscription that could, for many people, be completely free.
That's the problem with the online porn industry. There are SO MANY bad apples out there just trying to scam people out of credit card numbers that those of us who might get a free/reduced-price trial subscription are scared away and stick with what we can get for free. In its greed, the porn industry shot itself in the foot and permanently lost a massive portion of its potential customer base. Bad move.

This is a great idea for a few reasons.
1. your site is FreeOnes, so you've got a bunch of cheap bastards who can earn points by posting pictures of their dicks and sending them to Petra. People are going to like the fact that this doesn't cost legal tender, but costs point.
2. I'm extremely careful about where I use my credit card, and it is never on porn.
3. There is so much porn available for free. Everyone knows it is illegal, but so many people just don't care. Perhaps this is a way to allow those of us who don't watch stolen porn, but don't like to pay for it, a reward.

I hope that (ignoring my reasons above) porn sites see this as a "lost leader." That is, something they give away, knowing that it will increase traffic on their site. It doesn't have to be a huge amount, but if a site offers one membership per month (12 a year) that FreeOnes can "sell" for points, they're going to benefit in the long run. It makes sense.

The idea has been in my head for a while already (like in years). Just never did it. A few months ago I put a poll on the mainpage asking what people would like to spent their myfo points on and paysite passes scored the highest on the list. So putting the genius idea and the input of the visitors together gives you this thread
Ah-ha! This is exactly the reason why I have been just sitting on my pile of MyFO points. I knew that some really good opportunities to spend them might become available at some point in the future and that chance has now potentially arrived! However, I practically must be able to pick the site where I spend the points on. The site selections better include some of the following: [nobabe]Lelu Love[/nobabe]'s site, Anilos, All Over 30, Abby Winters, Cosmid, Fem Flood, Girls Out West, ATK Gallery, We Are Hairy, Young Fatties, Joymii, X-Art, Chubby Loving, Chubby Go Bad, [nobabe]Angela White's, Lorna Morgan's, Zuzana Drabinova's, Becca Blossoms' and Maggie Green's[/nobabe] sites, possibly Lazerbunny and some of the tasteful artistic nude sites, like Met-Art, Femjoy, Hegre-Art, Errotica Archives... and so on. Sites that have all-natural women; that is the key factor.
But if this works in a way that there is a big selection of the most popular mainstream sites and it's random which one you get when you pay the points, I will certainly pass. That's an absolute no-no. That has irritated me in some of your previous contests. Usually the probability to get anything I would actually want in those sorts of contests is very small.
Edit: Oh shit, I actually am completely guilty of not reading the first post in this thread.
