Venison - extremely versatile. It can be gamey, made to be very mild, made into sausage, roast, steak, and anything in between. Completely sustainable, and local for so much of the world.

Now are any of these meats OSCM approved?

Indeed they are! I love meat. I eat more meat than anything else. Though I'm very picky. I don't like any bit of fat as I can't stand the texture so I spend like 5 minutes cutting every little piece of it off before I start eating, I don't like my pork breaded, bacon has to be super crispy, steak has to be well done, I only eat boneless chicken, I don't like any seafood except for fish occasionally so long as it's completely drowned in lemon. I don't eat venison because I grew up with a ****** of hunters, and my step-*** made me help butcher the deer, cut the meat, grind the meat, all that good stuff. I am permanently scarred for life.

Red meat would have to be lamb (shoulder is the best), which you have inexplicably left out, otherwise chicken as it is versatile and reasonably cheap compared to other meats - Free Range ONLY.

I love seafood (fish is okay, prefer crustaceans), but I wouldn't consider that meat as such.
Beef - rump (rare) has the best flavour, but tends to be tougher than other steak.
Venison - can be dry as there is little fat.
Game (I assume you mean birds) - watch out for the shot, but very tasty - again can be dry if not cooked reasonably rare.
Pork - ribs are my favourite here, with a nice sticky, spicy hot BBQ sauce.
I have not tried human, except the odd lick on a live one, but am lead to believe that the flavour is not unlike pork.
Ostrich steak is pretty good - quite like beef.

What ... no goat!

Baby goat is very good. I had it at my ******* in laws engagement party (she's Greek), it was tasty.

I personally, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, me some veal. Fuck the ethical issues, shorten the rope, and make it more tender.

I voted for venison though, I agree with dirk...it has so many options.

For me, one of my favorite foods would be going to the nearest steak house and have a large, at least 12 oz T-bone or a sirloin cooked medium rare :drool2:

****** as hell!!
