When I have lower back pain I lay on my back on the bed and bend my legs and knees and slowly pull my legs with my hands until they touch my chest and hold for 10 seconds, 2 or 3 times.
If that doesn't work, I try one knee at a time.
This usually makes the lower back pain go away or not hurt so much.
