great story has Silent Hill series, Metal Gear Solid series, Resident Evil series

I think God Of War has a cool and interesting story line, but I really like mythogy stuff so that helps a lot. I agree with metal gear and the first 2 REs, they kinda got a little extra crazy after that.

I also think that Final Fantasy 7 has a pretty cool story.

I forgot about Final Fatasy series, I think FF8 has a great storyline. Marc Ecko's Getting Up has great storyline too and Prince Of Persia (SOT, WW, T2T)

I think Gears and Gears 2 both have a pretty good story line. I also liked GTAIV's story as well.

It might not be the best or the most original storyline but i really enjoyed the StarCraft storyline... and the sequel too.

Shit, forgot about BioShock! Might be one of the greatest stories ever in a game.

I like the storyline that Crystal Dynamics has been doing with the latest Tomb Raider games. Other than that God of War, Gears of War, the Final Fantasy series, Metal Gear Solid, the Grand Theft Auto series, Star Wars: KOTOR, and Mass Effect all have good storylines.

The first KotOR had a good story and the second one did also if you don't count the ending. The metal gear games are good. Final Fantasy 7 was ok, and I thought that Chrono Trigger was pretty good also. I could still play that game today with the crappy graphics and all and have fun with it. My all time favorite is Xenogears, even if it had flaws with the stuff on the second disk being rushed it was pretty good. Xenosaga had the potential to be up there if they would have went through and made all six episodes instead of cutting it short and butchering parts of the story to give it more action and explosions instead of thoughtful material.
