Video Games & Levels you HATE

Escort levels.

I know what you mean. They are some of my most hated things in video games. I think the video gaming industry should have a moratorium on escort missions/quest or things where you need to keep a certain person alive until they can do them well. I often find either the AI of the person your trying to protect or your other team mates to be completely stupid where they try to get themselves killed, or that the computer AI enemies (and especially human enemies if your playing against another player) will do kamikaze charges against who your trying to protect even if it wouldn't happen in a real life scenario like that because the risk to them would be too great.

Haha I had that game when I had a Gamecube, I know exactly what you're talking about. I ended up using cheats to finish that game, I couldn't do it without them.
I later bought Bloodrayne 2 for the XBox, and about three quarters into that game I got too frustrated and had to finish it with cheats too.
If you can actually finish either Bloodrayne without cheats, you're either extremely gifted, extremely patient, or extremely lucky.

Good to see I ain't the only one the Bloodrayne series frustrates. I like the character, and all, so I hope they make a better Bloodrayne game someday.

Any game = the sewer level.

What drove me nuts was playing Castlevania Lament of Innocence on PS2 on Crazy difficulty and trying to beat this guy called the Forbidden One.
Man that bastard was so hard it took me like 2 weeks just to beat his ass.
Another thing pissing me of is in another Castlevania, this one is the Rondo of Blood on Super nes where you use Richter, In the second to last level you have to be jumping on some slim ass platforms and be dodging them damn medusa heads same time, once you fall off the platform, you have to start all the way at the begining of the level.
this one is the hardest, this is old school. In Tag Team Wrestling on the Nes I could never beat that game, the bad guys would always get red when you beating them up and you cant attack them. The only trick was to get them out the ring, that way once they are outside they cant turn red,and then you beat them up and dont allow them to get back in,and they get counted out. however that doesnt always work,You Might try keeping them outside and it backfires on you and you get counted out and lose.lol
Mike Tyson Punchout pissed me off,I couldnt beat that punk,he was the only person who actually started the round doing his super punch, and one solid punch from him would knock you down.

Any level with cutscenes that disrupt gameplay.

Or, when you get to the end of a level, and then they make you go back across the fuckin entire level to grab some piece so you can finish the level.

Levels where you have to travel on a horse for 25 minutes to get from point A to point B just so the game can boast 50+ hours of gameplay.

so I'm guessing you don't like the resident evil series (or any survival games like mgs) or shadow of the colossus

theres quite a few i used to have hatrid for, 1 being Street Fighter, one of the worst games to get you angry. If anyone's played the recent street fighter and has faced seth or gouken on very hard then you'll know what im talking about.

You seem to be able to get through all the other characters quite easily, comes to seth and its mr fucking invincible who counters every move and destroys you with about 3 punches.

Also i used to HATE some levels on Splinter Cell, good game but it used to do some gay shit

I hate stressful levels that have you constantly in the line of fire. Be it time limit or defending something.

In some horror games, when you become really into it, I hate it when you're the one having to make the decision to go forward. Like for example there's an old house you have to enter, but part of you just wanna stay outside and leave those zombies alone in there.

Some levels are shitfuck difficult too. Like Quick Man in Mega Man 2.

Bloodrayne for pc level underground zombie zone in argentina when have to jump down to bottom of pit and then jump up within the tower to reach top. I always have difficulty not getting blow to bits by the panzerfaust zombies.
