what ?????????? fall out boy is so not metal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! do these guys just sit around and talk about metal on this new show yawn!!!!!!! the era where shows were like that is so over. my best advice would be to fine your own tase in this music style on your own.

It's a good show. The guest love metal, and unlike, say Fuse's canceled Talking Metal, I don't feel stupider watching it.

And, why the hell is the Ball no longer on? Aside from the Anniversary show, shot at my fav bar Duffs, may I add, I ain't seen an episode in months!

Not a lot of music, but the show discusses good topics and the occasional surprise like Yngwie Malmsteen shredding. New episode will aire Saturday night.

The last episode had Mike Piazza on. But, the best part was when they did iron Maiden vs. Judas Priest. I had to side w/ Maiden, btw, even though I am a huge Priest fan.

Love that show. And I miss the old headbanger's ball with Riki Rachtman. New HBB is too much death metal. Then again I miss the old MTV. You know when it stood for MUSIC television, not MORON television!

I occasionally watch it, depending on who the guests are (I loved when Phil Anselmo was on), but I find it frustrating to watch. I hate when they do the "which is better" or "let's decide the top 5". I don't want opinions. I want information and music.
Also, what I don't like about the show is that they typically only cover very particular forms of metal. I guess what might be called "classic", 70's/80's styles. That's because that's the type Eddie Trunk listens to, and the other 2 guys for the most part. They can only talk about what they know. They have a small time slot and little budget so they can't expand the show unless that changes. Eddie doesn't really care because he has a 'day job(s)' That Metal Show is just a fuck-around for his own amusement.

As far as I can remember, I have never seen/heard a metal show/channel that covers all forms of metal. It's always either early era only, or mainly hardcore/metalcore with some death/black in there.

They should make a show called Pat Boone's World of Metal.

And on the programme they could show us his collection of all things Metal. Spades, forks, knifes, nails, sheets of aluminium, etc etc.
