Not when you take into account that most awards among other like stuff like that in the adult industry are close to being worthless in the first place. Most of them are either got by luck, are really obscure things not many even average porn fans know about let alone people outside the industry, are about having the best PR movement, the actress pestering internet messageboards or other places to have fans vote for her, or some sort of industry back scratching between friends. I don't put much emphasis on them.

If anything Nina's real biggest accomplishments are the fact that she's lasted so long and keep a decent fan base in an industry where people get shuffled out and forgotten about in 6 months all the time to the new people coming and going in the revolving door that is porn, and the fact that she has at least set herself up so she can manage her own career, is somewhat independent and is able to run a lot her own stuff with her own resources. Those are hard things to do in the adult industry and are accomplishments that are impressive to me, because it's very hard to do over any significant length of time. They are also something she should be proud of. I also respect the fact that she has set up some limit for herself and has her own standards she sticks to. A lot of other performers wouldn’t do that if they can sniff money in it.

You have "no doubt who would be bigger"? That saying quite allot since a fan base in hard core porn is not just based on beauty IMO. She could come off as a "dead fuck", give bad blow jobs or whatever and actually lose fans...

Let's just stick with the fact that we all have our own opinions and you think Veronika Zemanova is more beautiful for your own reasons in this comparison.

Unless Veronica would have ended up being one of the worst performers in porn history it probably wouldn't matter. Most performers don't do that good of a job anyhow. Most of them either mail it, fake it really badly or at least make it seem forced, look like they don't really want to be there or would rather be doing something else, or if nothing else are average. For most normal men the looks far outweigh the performance. It's mostly the raincoaters that only somehow think they are representative of all men when they aren't even close that think differently. And again absolutely nothing against Nina, but she was never anything mind blowing in the performance department for that matter either. She was a very hot chick that did decent sex. If she only looked half as good, but performed twice as well she wouldn't have come out as good as she did. It's good when both ultra attractiveness and sexual performance converge, but that is very rare. I like Nina better the way she is anyhow.

Also, I don't claim to be psychic or have some type of mystic clairvoyance, and while you might think I'm being presumptions or am saying white a lot (which maybe I am), just using what I know from the industry, what reactions are and were on the board since I have viewed it, which is even a little longer than I have been registered here, and just generally being observant to the way porn fans act and using analytical observation, I have a hard time in my educated opinion thinking that if Nina had decided to retire at the same time Veronica did (arguably they were both at their height around that time.) Nina would be as popular now as Veronica. Veronica had a huge number of post in her thread just here alone added YEARS after she retired. I don't think the same would happen for Nina at nearly the same scale. If this question was asked 3 to 5 years ago Nina would probably get outvoted here somewhere between 3-5 to 1 even with the hardcore advantage. Now could I be wrong? Yes, I could, but I don't think so.

Truthfully, this isn't that bid of a deal to me, and I don't know why I'm spending so much time on this. Maybe I just feel the need to defend my position after kind of being called out.

Although I like both these beauties very much and am a little biased in favour of Veronica, who is one of the girls from my country I am very proud of, I voted for Nina, because I love her eyes and smile better.

P.S. Doing or not doing hardcore is a matter of no importance for me and if I consider it as important, it is only in cases the girls do stuff I dislike. I am glad to say that there is no need for me to avoid Nina's stuff.

Actually he is right. AVN and similar awards are given out like candy the last few years. I think they have over 100 awards now. Most people that shoot boy/girl movies will get an award if they shoot it a few years. To me the special women are the glamour models. They do not shoot boy/girl and they can be more popular than a porn star. Not everyone is into the hardcore stuff. They also tend to be better looking. (In my opinion, so no need for anyone to turn angry over this)

Frankly these polls should be between women that shoot the same style. It was supposed to be based on beauty like OP said, but they always seem to switch to who shoots what and how hard.

I can think of one model that is on the level of Veronica and shoots the same stuff. Barbie Griffin. I can also post three more if you want. They are a select group of women.
