Well it's not 100 percent for sure and im still young but if I reach to my mid 40's and im still single, I'll probably invest in getting the snip snip...

My gf doesn't want kids. I'm getting the procedure done so she doesn't have to. But even if I was single I'd still get it done. Would you meet a girl and all of a sudden change your mind on something you felt strongly about your entire life just because she felt the opposite? Who does that?

I'd urge everyone thinking of it to research carefully what is involved: extremely painful and long-lasting complications are mucch more common afterwards than the medical profession would like us to believe.

I had it done years ago and can honestly say I haven't missed a thing except the possibility of unwanted children. Sex is better because that worry is gone and if you want to fool around, you're not going to get "caught" in the worst way possible (not that I do fool around). If you are in the right place in your life, go for it. If there is a possibility of still wanting kids, hold off. Anybody who does this in their 20s and is single is just foolish. Wait a few years to make sure - you might meet someone and regret it.
