here in San Francisco, the SPCA effectively demonstrated that "no ****" shelters can work. but **** fights them at every step. if you've ever followed anything on Ingrid, you'll see she originally started out working at the D.C. ****** shelter, which not-so-coincidentaly had the highest rate of ****** terminations among all other city sponsored ****** shelters. thats pretty fucking siginificant.
recently, those dumb ****-bots (a term some of us volunteer types refer to **** dipshits as) at the dog show held up signs saying breeders contribute to death in *******. double standard much??? ****, proven by public disclosure documents, ***** over 90% of its sheltered *******. i'd say the breeders were fucking lightyears beyond **** and those two dumb bitches on ****** care.
in '07 a **** shelter received over 1,200 homeless *******. they managed to find homes for 7 of them and destroyed the rest. if you're a homeless ****** the last person you want to handle you is a **** person because in some cases you have a .05% chance of survival and in best case case scenario, you have a 10% chance of survival. want a dose of grim reality? read about the north carolina vs **** case. **** em and toss em in a dumpster may sound like a great 80's action movie but it was very real practice at a north carolina **** shelter, a shelter which claims it was just following the teachings of its **** parent.
so while **** convinces fake, superficial, dipshitted, brainless celebs to pose nude, or fights for causes like bringing an end to honey bee harvesting, or robotic groundhogs, i'm going to continue supporting SPCA instead and volunteer for them as I have on occasion. In the years since the first example of a successful "no ****" shelter **** has made NO EFFORT WHATSOVER to try it. instead they continue to ****, ****, ****. fuck ****, fuck newkirk.
want to make a difference? grab some blankets or towels or chew toys or something similar and head down to your local spca shelter and tell them you'd like to volunteer for the day to help and at the end of that day give them a check and tell them you'll be back next month. you may not get to squeeze pam anderson's plastic tits, but there are some pretty normal looking, and very nice people (we often refer to them as real people) you will meet and make friends with. i've been to two **** events and both times i've met some of the most superficial, clueless, materialistic short sighted people i will ever want to meet. fuck ****, they'll never get another minute of my time or penny of my money. spca all the way.
it amazes me how many people think newkirk is a visionary. she's a narrow minded, limited intelligence, self righteous, modern day Valerie Solanas wannabe who's thoughts seem revolutionary to only the most gullable or non investigative saps the world has to offer. actually, on second thought, i think i may have given a bad name to Valerie if that is indeed possible.
