USC Student killed by brutal hit and run

If it was a nice looking guy who had been killed, I am 100% positive that nobody would be saying "it's a shame that such a beautiful guy had to die like this".

So then what? We can't say she's beautiful?

When you saw that picture of her you thought, "Wow, she was a good looking girl". Just like the rest of us.

I was too busy reading how she got killed to notice what her picture looked like. Sorry, I'm not superficial.

That still wouldn't be fair. It would make you a cold blooded murderer and according to you you'd deserve to die for it and maybe someone in your family as well.

I wouldn't deserve to die because there would be a purpose for the killing. That girl was killed by a drunk driver and he had no regard for human life when he threw that guy on the side of the road like a piece of trash. Those people, the ones that no concept of the value of a human life deserve to die, plain and simple. I wouldn't be a cold blooded murderer because I wouldn't be killing a person, I'd be killing a piece of shit, and that's all that guy is. He is not worthy of being called a human being. Let me put it this way: I have more respect for a serial killer than a drunk driver who throws a person to the side of the road. At least serial killers are fucked in the head and can't help themselves. That piece of shit knew what he was doing and didn't give a fuck. As for their families, I'll repeat myself for the last time: If I know who killed my family member, that person should be killed and not one of their family members.

Violater--I dare to bring this up but since it's a USC thread, I suppose there's a tangential bit of relevancy.

In your "world of justice" what would be appropriate for "society" to exact upon OJ Simpson?

It's real easy: have him killed the same way he killed those 2 people. Now I know someone on here will say "well he was never convicted", doesn't matter. We all know he did it, therefore he should not be allowed to live. His family had NOTHING to do with it and should be left alone.

As previously mentioned by another poster, I wonder if the suspects are actually legal Americans (?)
Huh ? What ? Oh, it has PLENTY TO DO WITH EVERYTHING if you wish to live in a cooperative and orderly society.

What kind of filth are these poor excuse for humans, not only for their alleged crime, but to be out in the witching hours of the AM, likely intoxicated, with a tot in the car ?

:hang 'em:

Somebody will come along and attempt to qualify these shits . . I can just sense it.

What a sad story! :(

As a parent, my heart goes out to the parents (and loved ones) affected by this incomprehensible tragedy. I hope that someday, they can find a measure of peace - though their grief and loss shall never be fully assuaged :(

On a separate side note:
I'm appalled frankly, at some of the comments here in this thread. I'm shaking my head in disbelief, distraught as to how easily people let their anger control their faculties.

Ladies and gentlemen,
I acknowledge your anger. Your disgust. Your frustration.
Believe me, I share them.

But please don't let it cloud your judgment.

Vengeance... is not justice.

Pay heed the words of Nietzche: "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you."

This story is very hard to stomach. its disgusting. how can a person, both or all of the people in that car live with the guilt of such a cowardly fucked up inhumane act of selfishness and disregard for others lives?.
Apparently, LA is seeing a rash of such incidents lately.

A witness told police that last Thursday, 45-year-old David Ronald Bork was sleeping in the rear driveway of a business on the 1600 block of North Vermont Avenue when a private ambulance struck him.

The witnesses said the ambulance driver left the scene without identifying himself or rendering aid.

Update: The women they arrested was the driver, and police are still looking for her husband, the one who got out and threw the man off their car. The bitch was brought to court today and she pleaded not guilty!!!

Oh, and get this... their baby was sitting in the back seat of the car when this happened.

Can you believe this shit?!?!

Even though I'm against violence towards women, this is one "woman" that I'd love to get my hands on just for 5 minutes. I promise you she'd be in more pain than she could ever imagine. After I got done with her, if her husband thought she had it bad, his would be 10x worse.

The person I feel bad for is the baby. Because of his/her parents stupidity, that kid will be without the parents for who knows how long.

My sympathies to the families involved.

This type of stuff happens far too often and yes this world can be a shitty place. But get over the homicidal vigilantism, what better world does this create.

I hope the driver who did this will be run over by a 40 tons truck

Boy this is a sad story. I had an acquaintance of mine killed in a not dissimilar hit and run incident a couple of weeks ago though the driver in this circumstance has yet to be apprehended. The general level of responsibility in our culture has definitely gone a bit backwards in the past couple of decades. The fact that the accused driver had their own chiid in the back of the car exemplifies the truly senseless nature of this crime. Must have been on drugs, drunk or w/o insurance to have even considered such an action.
