I have never lost a bet and now I will bet 100 euro that the next American president is Mrs. Hillary Clinton.

"Americans need a champion and I want to be that champion"

(Mrs. Hillary Clinton)

"She even botherd to come to Finland so she must be a tough and dutiful woman"

(assari)

You are a hardcore Republican but you are going to vote for her?

Hardcore Republican? You know me better than that. I got a bit of money so I may be more conservative in that area but I could give two shits how people live their lives as long as it doesn't harm me or cost me. The GOP Friends Of Israel seem like servant shoe waxers to me also. I don't think I have any heartstrings left to pull so they'll have to suck my cock instead.

Dear assari

You would welch on the bet too.

Not to play semantics or pretend that I am being a bitch/prick/asshole (although you might think so anyway) in this regard but, since you have made this reference a couple of times in recent days, be aware that the generally accepted term for backing out on a bet is to welsh, not "welch". Welch is grape juice.

Remember....you anointed me as being the official conscience of Freeones (as well as being "straight-laced) so....take it like a man.

Oh....note to assari: You forgot the (parody) suffix to your thread title here. Just thought I'd point it out since you are so rarely off-base with anything else you post here I though it appropriate to make note of this blatant omission.

I always thought it was "welch" also. You learn something new every day.

I'd rather disparage a group of people than a sugary ***** anyways.

I have impression that you are a conservative but you know yourself better than I.

Who is your favorite candidate in 2016?

I won't bet right now, as there are still a lot of free slots to fill unless we have the full roster.

I really hope that Elizabeth Warren chenges her mind and goes in, too.

Both are correct. I guess I am using the slang version. Just because you qualify your statement as not playing semantics doesn't mean that you aren't doing it.Rumor has it that the first person to plead the Gaming Act of 1845(British law) had the last name Welch but the origin of the term is still up in the air. Not to be a bitch/prick/asshole :)

This is not a parody thread, this is a serious topic.

If you choose the conservative president it means war against some Arab country, a lot of people will die, terrorism increses and the price of oil rises world wide.

If you chooce Mrs Hillary it is a good thing because she is not a warmonger.

Ain't got one. Which candidate am I the favorite of? Too bad we can't pick 'em like plucking bottles off a post splitting their wigs when they try to divide and conquer us.

assari's advice:

vote for Democrat candidate and prevent war.

...and I have never won a bet. I guess that makes us both...(fill in the blank)

"I have never lost a bet because I've never made a bet so far"

If the majority of Americans vote for Republican candidates it means that they will receive president who wants war and worst of all then I will lose my bet.

1) Any prevision made by Blue Countach will fail
2) A few days before the election, Fox News will announce their viewer that the Republican candidate will have a landslide victory.

Me too. But if she runs, I'm concerned about her ability to raise big money.

At the moment sportsbooks have listed the democratic candidate (whoever that might end up being) as a mild favorite to win in 2016. Bet 140 dollars to win 100.

I'd be inclined to bet against Hilary. She may yet win but I don't think her odds represent any kind of value.

My early odds on who will be the GOP nominee:

Paul 40 to 1
Carson 3000 to 1
Cruz 1000 to 1
Rubio 25 to 1
Christie 3 to 1
Bush 1 to 1
Huckabee 1000 to 1
Graham 3000 to 1
Jindal 50 to 1
Perry 400 to 1
Santorum 3000 to 1
Walker 30 to 1

Yes, we should take the oddsmaker named Pool Hustler from the message board Freeones very seriously but Rick M from Twitter totally lacks credibility. lol

Touche'. Irregardless ;), the specific reference to "welshing" pertains to a penchant that was perceived in days of old attributed to those from Wales, the Welsh. Hence, the term "welshing" or "to welsh" on a bet. Frankly, I've heard it used the way you did more frequently than the technically correct pronunciation so I guess the slang version has just been adopted as the more popular over the years.

1. PLEASE let's take this wech/welsch thing to another thread

2. I will start another one for the craziest presidential scenarios imaginable. These odds gave me some funny ideas!
