The populace of Iran is the most educated and pro-Western in the region... if we could only help them decapitate their government, I think Iran could be as good of a model for a middle eastern democratic country out possible. Unfortunately, their "leaders" continue their authoritarian rule and when they get nuclear weapons, it's going to shift the entire balance of power not only in the region but the world. Remember that it is WELL documented that the Iranian regime has and still supports terrorism all over the globe.

Salehi: US plot claim, smear campaign

Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi has dismissed as a “new propaganda campaign” the US allegations of Tehran's involvement in a plot to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to Washington.

The US Justice Department has accused Iran of involvement in a plot to assassinate the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Washington, Adel Al-Jubeir, with help from a suspected member of a Mexican **** cartel.

Salehi told Press TV on Wednesday “This is a new propaganda campaign to distract attention from the ongoing developments in the region and beyond,”

He added “Because of the wave of Islamic Awakening, the US is losing its regional allies.”

He stated “The US economy is in tatters and Americans have taken to the streets to protest the government's policies. So, they need a way out and that is exactly what they are doing now.”

Meanwhile, the Iranian minister said elsewhere that the US has launched “a childish scenario” which will bring ******** on its plotters.

The minister stated that such baseless allegations against Iran are aimed at diverting world public opinion from the problems that the US, the international Zionism and the West currently face.

However, Salehi emphasized that as all conspiracies against the Islamic Revolution have been thwarted over the past 32 years, this plot will also fail.
