Hmm, So they are still pissed off about that war eh? Well I can tell you from just watching Gangland on the History channel, Blacks and Mexicans aren't exactly the best of friends either. Hell, one of my best buds in college was from Cali, and he said that he was trained from birth to fight Mexicans. Not so sure if that would be something I would want to be a part of or be proud of, but you see my point. Being part Native aAmerican means that I had to listen to some of my predecessors rant on and on about the evils of the White(and sometimes Black. In particularly the Buffalo Soldiers, but that is another story.) man. As I became my own man, I realized that at some point, you just gotta let shit go.
No, you're right there are latinos that don't harbor this quack's sentiments. It's just that Gutierrez speaks on behalf of the group spearheading this idea that the America southwest must be taken back - La Raza. There is pleanty of other rhetoric from his camp that reiterates his stance.
It would certainly solve some of it. What do YOU suggest? I'm sure we would all love to hear some of your wisdom on the subject.

My family has dark colored people as well as light skinned and we never use gringo as a slur, calling someone gringo is like calling a black man, dark skinned. In our culture, gringo means you have blond/light hair or skin, For example, my cousin was a "gringo" when he bleached his hair. It's not a slur, you ignorant douchebag.
Anyway, the cartoon was funny and I got a good chuckle from it. I don't really think people should take offense.

Pleanty of ways to respond to this post, but I think it's pretty obvious Gutierrez and Co make statements that reflect latinos mostly feel about the white devil.

I didn't read the whole thread but I remember seeing on the news a few years about when Mexicans took an American flag off a post office, burnt it, and raised a Mexican flag in its place.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get so heated, it's just that in every single thread I see Bloodshot posting in, he always turns the argument into this racially charged thing where white people are always victims, he generalizes on race so much and just look at the links he posts when he tries to back up his argument, no crediblilty whatsoever and they're always extremely biased. His ignorance infuriates me, I mean, outside of sports threads does anyone even take this guy seriously?
