I am for communism well actually for a democratic socialist world. Although I couldn't say that back in McCarthy's time....
If you are talking strictly German army, then Russia (with a whole lot of US supplies) because that's where the bulk of the German army was. The US & British Commonwealth also was fighting italy & Japan on three Continents and their navies. Basically it was the US's industrial might that won WW2.

This is not a question that truly answers how/why **** Germany was defeated.
The real answer, as someone else posted, was the industrial might of the US.
To better answer your question, though, in terms of red army v US army...if the US army had not committed to Europe, would the red army have been able to push back against the Nazis? I don't think so. The Germans essentially had a one-front war until the US went in to Italy and Normandy. Sure, they over-extended their supply lines and did the usual against Russia (underestimated the Russian winter), but it was the western/southern invasions by the US (and UK/Canada) that ****** Germany to fight a two-front war.

If you are talking about just ground ******, then there is no question that the Soviets did much more damage. You have to realize though that the US/UK air strikes severely damaged both supply lines and manufacturing operations. Germany just did not have the resources or the manpower to win the war.
I have visited a few times in the Soviet Union (Jalta and Leningrad) in the 1980s and it seemed to be a very safe and organized country.
On the other hand stores selection was very limited and the Russians wanted to buy off your clothes.

Yes, the US war industry had a huge impact.
