I think it's supposed to increase the pleasure when having an orgasm. Kind of a stupid thing to do though, the membrane that makes up the walls of the urethra are pretty thin and can tear easily. Sticking things down there really is not a safe thing to do.

^Oh, no, I wasn't making you out to be a 'sicko' (I'm long past stuff like that), I just find these kinds of sexual behaviour very fascinating in an eccentric way.
