There is a very simple reason there are so many models/actresses from the former eastern block: no income and little opportunites.

On top of that you have a 3rd generation of people that had religious ethics washed away by communism and the girls jump at the $ without the moral concerns that even the most jaded and abused US porn star has...

Another advantage the girls have is that they live or are from crossroads countries, meaning that they have blood from many many differernt countries/backgrounds/races.

That's way you get a Veronica Vanoza and Silvia Saint from the same country - but totally, totally different looks and features.

BTW Their "pro" or "porn" names are usually given to them early in their careers by managers or producers. It is rare when they start that they will speak english, let alone be able to invent an english language sounding name. (Nikki Anderson is Hungarian and her name was given by producers at Private...)

i visited Hungary many times, so i hope that counts...
it's not like they have only beauties all over the place. they do have ugly and usual babes, but if a hungarian girl happens to be gorgeous she's usually way out of other countries league. also hungarian chicks are generally quite sultry, which is an additional big plus (at least for me).
