Unsolve threads?

I posted a thread in the Identify section and when I check back it's marked as solved. I didn't think one of the ladies identified was right, so I clicked unsolved (I think it was). I come back again to check the thread and that option isn't there and I still don't think it's right. Can people not be allowed to identify it as solved unless if it's not their thread? I had to make a new thread after. Is there a way around this?

People frequently don't bother marking their threads as solved, so mods have to do it to save people clicking into threads that HAVE already been solved.

I had to make a new thread after. Is there a way around this?

Report the post or PM me asking for the thread to be marked unsolved again.

Thanks Mr.S. I already created a new one, but I will next time if someone goes ahead and marks theirs as solved. I always mark mine (the rare time I make one), so I wish there was a limit for checking in or something

Great. Yet another thread solved with the wrong I.D. and to make matter worse I don't have the picture anymore (and it's gone from the thread). Fuck. It should only be for the O.P. to click like I said before :/
