ok i see im pretty alone with my opinion so ill mind this thread

I'm sorry. You like Nickelback, I get it, and you're not alone. Their music might be acceptable to your ears. But not to mine. I see Nickelback as nothing more than a prepackaged artificial product forced onto the radio waves by the music industry to line their pockets because they are more "manageable" or maybe a better word would be "controllable". Good bands are not controllable, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, the Sex Pistols, the Stones. Nickelback sort of reminds me of Creed, a band I hated throughout the 90's. When Creed came out they were like a wannabe Pearl Jam. The "singer" would "sing" in a way that sort of tried to imitate Eddie Vedder, the lyrics were somewhat comparable but 100% more depressing, and they had no problem with Ticketmaster like Pearl Jam did, which meant that Creed was nothing more than a more manageable wannabe carbon copy of Pearl Jam that the music industry forced onto the radio airwaves during the 90's, the way they are forcing Nickelback onto the radio airwaves today. Every time I hear the radio DJ say the words "we'll be back with some requested Nickelback" I want to shout YOU ALREADY PLAYED $%@#%$@% NICKELBACK FOUR %$%@$@ TIMES IN THE LAST %@%$%%$#% HOUR!! WHO THE %!%@#$%$%@$^@^#%@%$@%@$%$ NEEDS TO REQUEST NICKELBACK WHEN YOU ALREADY PLAY THEM ALL THE $@%$@!%^$@#$%@% TIME?!?!?!

Okay, I vented. Any radio DJ's out there?

why you all hate on nickelback?? they are a great band and have a super live performance

lol, sorry Hotrod...

Actually in reality they do sell out seats in big venues. That's one of the perks of making generic commercial rock. They're basically the Creed of the late millennial decade.

Btw, whatever happened to..
-you know what, I don't wanna know. Good riddance.

Am I the only one taking seriously the idea that it's possible whimsy could pull in some pink before any/all of us

Where's that toilet....:weeping:
