Twistys : How bad has it become?

I've talked about this website until I'm blue in the face. And I'll continue to talk about it.

Navigation is still horrible in there. And this is after four and a half years.

Manwin / Mindgeek and that webmaster of theirs have delisted adult models who were once featured there.
Manwin / Mindgeek has also removed multiple photosets and videos.

They've pulled the photosets because then they don't have to continue to pay out royalties to the photographers whose work it is they just delisted.

Go there now. If you can find the model (circa around 2008 -2012) and her respective video; the accompanying photo gallery has probably been removed.

Manwin / Mindgeek has pretty much moved away from the original concept of the website. Going from ladies and solo masturbation videos to hardcore, either g/g or b/g scenes.

• My favorite photo galleries and scenes went away about two years ago being removed by the webmaster.
• Anyway, I just logged in. I once had twenty-nine favorite models. Not anymore. The Mindgeek webmaster has erased all of them.
• The Twistys Forum doesn't exist anymore. So there is no place to lodge a complaint. The Twistys Forum was taken down because of the Twisty Treat Voting Scandal of 2014. Remember Vanessa Veracruz was winning over Nicole Aniston. Vanessa had a huge lead. But instead they rigged the voting to make Nicole the winner. As for the runner-up, they made Madison Ivy the runner-up. Madison was running ninth in the contest all along. So pretty much they screwed over Vanessa Veracruz.

• Manwin / Mindgeek banned paying members and adult models who raised objections about how Vanessa was treated. They even banned moderators and administrators of the Forum if they complained. Members had no choice but to stop their memberships and subscriptions.

Shap, who is the former owner and founder of Twistys, would be utterly disappointed and disgusted to what Manwin / Mindgeek has done to his landmark website.

Thanks Pornfan99. I don't pay for the Twistys website anymore. Not since they were in Canada under their own control. Years before the acquisition by Manwin / Mindgeek. I get it through the Brazzers Porn Portal. It's free to me.

Another thing. Thanks for reminding me. Manwin / Mindgeek fired one Twistys customer service representative, Cookie and the Twistys customer service manager, Jassy (friends of mine) as well as the entire Twistys customer service group when Probiller took over. Cookie was there since 1995.

It never made sense to me that they bought the sites they did back then to only ruin them in short order. A cynic might chalk it up to taking out their competition, but even that doesn't make sense considering they would have been better off just running those sites well and gaining the benefits from it themselves. It's probably best just to chalk it up to incompetence and lack of giving a damn.

As far as Twistys itself, it probably didn't help that adult modeling isn't what it what was 15 years ago, and it became harder for both producers and models to make off well just doing that.

Good point D-rock. Incompetence is truly the word here. Take for example, the Reality Gang Network. They (Manwin / Mindgeek) acquired that network six years before Twistys. It was the network that had Big Sausage Pizza, Milf Cruiser, Euro Bride Tryouts, and Adult.com. There were photo galleries and videos for every scene on those four websites. How do you just "forget" to bring over the photo galleries in the acquisition? Later, Milf Cruiser, Euro Bride Tryouts and about 85% of Adult.com content get dropped in the process leaving for the most part only Big Sausage Pizza left. Then they never even attempted to remaster the videos. Here they are allowing videos to be viewed at 240p, 360p and 480p. Though there is technology available to bring them up to 540p, 720p and even 1080p. I know because Naughty America does that. The Score Group does that. Videosz is attempting it. That's why they are allowing the merger between them and Bang.com to take place. Bang.com has the technology to bring old videos up to state of the art quality.

And with Bang Bros. they do it too. They take the videos off the sites for remastering periodically. Bang Bros. even does that with the photo galleries. It's more dramatic with Bang Bros. because the other websites in the network -- Busty Adventures, College Rules, Dancing Bear, Public Invasion, Culioneros, CFNM Show, Haze Her, and MYGF -- aren't being updated.

But with the competition - as least, they are putting back the money, reinvesting it and improving the product. I have to compliment and applaud Naughty America, Videosz and Bang, the Score Group and Bang Bros for making the sacrifices and improving the experience.

But I can't say that with Manwin / Mindgeek. Just total incompetence and stupidity with them.

Sounds like they were and still are after maximum profit, minimum effort. A good way to succeed downwards.
They'll still be getting new members joining because of the reputation Twistys had built up, but I can't see that lasting. Especially with the number of forum threads and online articles slowly but slowly, but surely increasing.

I guess, since it's been nine years come October 17th, she doesn't matter anymore.

Twistys was good up until around early to mid 2016 when Manwin / Mindgeek and that webmaster of theirs started messing around with the photo galleries of models. When the monthly Twistys Treats were starting to be impacted around mid 2018 was when photo galleries started disappearing off the website in droves. By that time, the revamp and layout of the Twistys website was well underway. Blue Fantasies and Anette Dawn's website (solo and g/g) was delisted and Twistys Hard (b/g) photo galleries and scenes became more and more prevalent.

I say mid 2018 was when the Twistys Treats content was taken down. I remember because Mandy Lynn was a Twistys Treat who almost became a second time Twistys Treat. During Shap's time there that had never happened before. The only thing stopping her from winning a second time was Shyla Stylez. Mandy Lynn went from eight photo galleries and seven videos and with the revamp and new layout redesign down to just three galleries and two videos.

White Devil - Very good point. ATK Exotics may be a very good place to go to. I never really thought about it. If I remember precisely they were much like Karups. Let me try over there. Thank you for the suggestion.

Appreciate it. Though I already signed up at 10:30 am today. It's not so bad. I took the $49.99 every two month plan. Beats the $29.95 per month plan. Saves about $60 per year. I needed some Candace Von, Veronika Zemanova and Mariah Milano pictorials since I had an external harddrive crash on me about two years ago that had ATK photosets. I was a member there from 2007 through 2009.

usually forever'. I've only hade 4 memberships, but to 3 sites. I doubled once on Miss Bunny .com. Thankfully it was inexpensive, because it sure wasn't worth it.

They've already pretty much purged content from 2012-2015, photos long ago and more recently videos. Well everything that was solo content. They kept the hardcore/gg content mostly I think. Everything went down hill since the scandal pretty much. It's such a shame. Twistys was my favorite site for years. It was the first site I paid a subscription, when I was of age. Now they are pretty much erasing everything I love about the site. And the site really hasn't been that great for the last four or so years, imo. It's cool that they returned to gg content in the last year and did more solos, but definitely missing the pre-2016 content and style of Twistys.

It was refreshing to read this thread as I have had pretty much the same experience, but have never really been too active with forums to understand what the other members thought. Twistys, to me, is dead now. A site built on photo gallery content as it's bread and butter removed all those galleries mentioned by other ppl here, AND also made it impossible to search for any specific photo gallery that is still on the site because of the horrible filter system that has no search by word function.

I will say, for other photo gallery enthusiasts, that I highly recommend ATK for content. For me, they have been the best for some time. I always preferred them to Twistys because Twistys always doctored the photos into oblivion (including painting out tattoos, lol!). Unfortunately, the site itself seems extremely dated, although the content itself is good. Also, they have such an antiquated subscription system compared to other sites. I asked recently about lifetime subscriptions and they told me to send $500 for each site to a P.O. Box. LOL

I should have done this 4 months ago buddy, but sometime in the beginning of the year, I went for a month on ATK Petites, and I thought it was worth the monthly charge. Easy to navigate, zip files, and although the older content wasn't always available in the hi res, most of it was. I walked away with a lot of gigabytes of smut.
