TV Shows that everyone loves, but you don't

I'm pretty sure there's a thread like this or very similar. But since we're in a brand spanking (oo-er) new movies and TV sub forum, let's start a new one.

I'll start and eagerly await the "What the Fuck, that was a great show" comments.

As in another thread, can't get into Ricky and Morty, I just don't find it funny.
24 - Everyone, one of my brothers included thought this was amazing. I did try watching it, several times, but I couldn't even make it past one episode.
Game of Thrones, even before the much lamented final season, I couldn't watch it, it just did nothing for me, even though there were plenty of naked ladies in it.

More to come.

Oh and if you get the "oo-er" reference, you're an old fart. Just like me. :D

Took me three attempts to get into Game of Thrones. Finally hit it and enjoyed it. I didn't see what the big deal was until it finally clicked. Turning on the subtitles helped me. I don't do well with fantasy names. I need to read them to have them sink in.

Basically all of them. Nothing in the reality genre, except, maybe Cops, if that's considered a reality show. I'll watch any, and everything serial killer or war related, and cartoons. I used to enjoy cooking shows, but everything on TV has turned into a contest, or reality TV.

All Petra tittie talk aside (sorry sweetie, I'm as hopeless, as helpless)....but all joking aside. the "Reelz" and "Oxygen" channels have had a great string of serial killer, and whacked out killer stories on, for Halloween. In the next few days, you can check out Gary "Green River Killer" Ridgeway, John Wayne Gacy, Manson, and they've shown the "Tool Box Murderers" a couple of times, already. Roy Lawrence, and Larry Bittiker. He was on death row for almost 30 years....but died of natural causes, in the prison. If you're into off the wall murder stuff, a few channels have it on.

How about mob related stuff? I recently got into The Sopranos and it didn't suck as bad as I thought it would. Michael Franzese has a youtube channel that's pretty interesting.

I never got into TWD, most zombie stuff is just kinda blah.

Same here for the whole "monsters" thing.....but I love the mUnsters. All of that silly vampire/werewolf stuff never did much for me, with the exception of "An American Werewolf, In London". Great flick' Of course I love mafia stuff, I'm half Sicilian. The Soprano's was a great show, except the last episode. But I would still rather watch a documentary based on real people. Same with WWII stuff. They've had some great series on lately, WWII in Color, The Pacific War in Color...all great shows. I never saw A Band of Brothers, and The Pacific, until they were out on DVD. But as of late, I just don't want to get involved in another several season series. I loved Sons Of Anarchy, could not get into, The Mayans.

Same here. I actually like post-apocalyptic stuff like ReEvolution and Last Ship, but not so much when it's the result of zombies.

I never got into the whole D&D world, so stuff like LoTR and GoT wasn't my of tea either. GoT just sounded like Dragons and Incest.

I've never seen or had interest in seeing even a single episode of Seinfeld, Friends, Cheers, Mad About You, Frasier, MASH, and many other sitcoms.
Mash is a great show, I still watch it, if it's on. Friends, occasionally, because of Aniston's rock hard nipples,, Cheers here and there, but Seinfeld, and Mad About You, never cared.

The Big Bang Theory. Its popularity practically ruined comic cons for me.

Ultimately, I loathe everything from Chuck Lorre. He's what you get when you order James L. Brooks from Wish.

The Bachelor - if I want to watch scantily-clad hot women prance around trying to sell themselves, I've got porn for that

GoT - never cared for the dialogue or the excessive violence

Grey's Anatomy - I don't care for medical dramas (although I did find Ellen Pompeo pretty hot when she was younger)

Survivor, The Amazing Race, Big Brother - clumping them together because I'm not a big fan of reality TV

Does keeping up with the kardasians count? That's a show I'm not even going to give a chance simply on premise alone, but the fact it's still a thing means some people find it entertaining.

Actually it counts as a double.....that's how bad it really is. In fact, if you wanna say it SUCKS, you have to write sucks in all caps, because it SUCKS that much.

Third Rock from the Sun should have got someone locked up. Big Bang Theory gave us naked Kaley Cuoco fakes, and that was its greatest gift. All the CSIs and Homicides and Law and Orders are just Matlock with a hardon.

Can I say "Breaking Bad" ? I tried several times to watch season 1, never enjoyed it, never got passed ep. 5

Fair enough - I overheard someone saying that they weren't a fan so much as more a fan of Better Call Saul. But if you don't like either, you're not controlling the remote in my house.

Actually, I never watched. It's a spin-off show from a show I don't like...
