This kind of thing is so sick and makes me wonder whether it's worth banning fireworks altogether or at least implementing a licence to purchase them.

What do you think?

That's sick I agree. :(

But its not the fireworks its who set them off who should be a counted for were I live your not allow some fireworks like fire crackers the big ones that go up in the sky and makes a big design and a few others that are out law here.

People should use comman since when setting them off just my :2 cents: worth.

Yeah, incident with the turtle is wrong, but we already have restrictions.

You can only buy fireworks at certain times, and with age restrictions. Don't think they should be *******, however, maybe the age limit could be raised.

I like what both of you said but any idiot can get hold of them where I live at any time of the year and i've seen **** as young as six and seven running around Moss Side with fireworks. Not just fire crackers either, i'm talking about firing rockets down pieces of drain pipe.

I think they should have a license for them,so it stops **** from buying them and causing mischief.

The thing with the turtle was really pathetic, and if it was my *** that don't it,I would've kicked up and down the house.See how they ****** like it

Fireworks are ******* in my state, but one can drive to every state that surrounds ours and purchase them. Plus, no cop is actually going to arrest you for using them in a safe manner. So...I never really understood that law.

Fireworks are safe in the correct set of hands, but there is always going to be idiots who mis-use them, we shouldnt start banning things because if you do where do you stop

My state as well and let me tell you !

Fourth of July '07 -
I've never seen such a display of fireworks in my life ! Same goes for the number of block parties, most all, displaying their own underground aerial fireworks shows. We're not talking pinky sized bottle rockets either ! More like those 2 - 2 -1/2" tube launchers ! Seemingly every two blocks, somebody had a block party with such fireworks.

Wrap up - No house fires • firework arrests reported in the newspaper (July 5).

My most disliked thing about fireworks is the fact you have to listen to them all night when some idiot sets them off on some random day for whatever reason.

I don't think banning fireworks is the answer. They kind of police themselves, with all the injuries that are incurred by those who use them. However, I think with all the similarities, Virgin should pull the stupid ad. There's a chance the culprit could have been inspired by it, so why not pull it? It would probably help public relations wise.

We can't start banning everything just because of the nuts out there.

I'm for harsher punishments. Put the person(s) responsible in jail for a year.
