Considering none of the trucks came from the other side (right side of screen), I'm wondering if that sign was posted on the right side only. There looked to be some sort of warning sign on the side the trucks entered from, but most of them JUST MISSED clearing it. In fact, if that road was freshly paved, it probably wasn't 11' 8", and from the way most of them just plowed straight into it, it looks to me like they've traveled that route before, trouble free. However, as a truck driver, I know one thing for certain, it is my responsibility to know for absolute certainty what the dimensions of my truck are, and knowing what roads I can, and cannot travel on. Man, I would hate to have to look my boss in the face and explain a fuck up like that.

i use to drive truck also and i would like to point out that there wasnt any 18 wheelers that went under that just dumb local straight trucks

I saw this last night on televison. Pretty funny watching all of those drivers smash into the bridge. There was more footage showing signs everywhere and even flashing lights above the bridge warning drivers.
