Trekkies!

Need to think ... where do I want to go...
(not boldly tho)

I honestly cannot say I like one series better over another one. All of them gave that mesmerizing feeling or just brainwashed me, each and every series have its good and bad episodes.

Those I'd do include:
* Saavik (played by either actress tho :rolleyes:) - or wouldnt this one count as this one only lives in the movies?
* Crusher in her later years
* T'Pol
* Ro Laren
* Jadzia Dax (but Ezri Dax too) (I love to imagine how all those marks would go down .... :drool2:)
* Kes
* Ishara Yar
* B.G. Robinson
* 'New' Uhura (sorry, can't help it, movies again)
* Robin Leffler
* Lieutenant Ilia (movies)
* (almost forgot about her) B'Elana - the only Klingon (well, half klingon) that I found attractive

A whole list - damn...

Really cant get in to this.

God knows my girlfriend and her entire family has tried to bring me over to this and doctor who... just cant take it for more than 5 minutes, then I feel an overwhelming urge to go out and get drunk instead.

Here's my contribution to the thread.

Yes, yes I'm a geek.

I came across this pic and thought I'd throw it in here.

Spock loved the ladies!

I have seen that pic of Spock in front of the Riveria and it is very cool.

But I cant stand Trekkies or Star Wars geeks they spend so much money and time on trivial things like that its really embarssing when people are starving and dying. The truth of Star Trek is it was a failed tv series from the 60's that was revived to make money for the failed actors that stared on it.
Star Wars was a composite of many diffrent generes produced to simply make box office money and nothing more.

Have I enjoyed both series from time to time of course.

Did I feel the need to dedicate life and love to a bit of entertainment that the creatators didnt give a shit about unless it made them a dollar....NO.

Uhm .. yeah. Firstly, thanks for taking the time to post that in this 'Trekkie" thread and sharing with us, once again, your bubbly personality.
Second, although I like Star Trek, Star Wars and Sci-Fi in general it doesn't mean I'm going to turn my house into a Trekkie set or even go to the conventions and such.

I'd like the chance to apologize if in anywhere in my response you felt it was directed at you. I thought it was my personal view of the Star Trek. In my entire response I dont believe that I said that you went to conventions or turned your house into the Enterprise.

What I made a was a genetal statement and only of my own personal thoughts. You attaching yourself to it is something for other people, professional people to figure out. I am flattered that you think I was referencing you personally.

Live Long and Prosper.

I hate having to choose between the different series because I loved them all. I grew up on TNG so I'm always fond of and partial to it but, I've been watching Enterprise on SyFy and I've got to admit that overall it's as good as the rest, if not better. Archer is a close to second but I've got to go with Picard as my favorite Captain. Kirk was awesome, Archer, too, but with Picard you felt like shit was under control. With Kirk you never knew if there was going to be a disco ball hanging from the ceiling of the bridge or what, which is cool, but doesn't exactly inspire confidence. Character to bang, wow, so many to choose from, Joanne Linville as the Romulan Commander in TOS "The Enterprise Incident" was hot. The Klingon B'Etor made forehead ridges look good and Klingon cleavage drool-worthy. And I could care less what popular consensus is or isn't on Counselor Troi, I'll be having extras of that hot helping of Betazoid babe.

Series- Enterprise, by a nose.
Captain- Picard
Babe- Troi

Spock ganged-up in my favorite episode of all time. This one had more classic lines and scenes than you can shake a Tribble at.
