Box office revenue rarely has a positive correlation with quality these days.A huge opening for a piece of trash like Transformers 3 only proves not only the willingness of the American populace to digest crap, but their fading intellect.
The audience has changed in 25 years. No more "thought provoking films" it's all about CGI action porn and no worthy dialogue.
