Transformers 3 Was Awesome!!!

I liked the Island 'only' since the product i sell was used in it, other wise quite a boring flick!

A huge opening for a piece of trash like Transformers 3 only proves not only the willingness of the American populace to digest crap, but their fading intellect.

Well to be fair only a portion are legitimately moronic. Much of that audience consists of young kids and the parents they drag with them. Box office revenue rarely has a positive correlation with quality these days.

Michael Bay is definitely one of the worst things to happen to American cinema. And shame on you for lending your name to this POS Mr. Spielberg. :nono:

The audience has changed in 25 years. No more "thought provoking films" it's all about CGI action porn and no worthy dialogue.

Hollyweird just churns this and other dopey "lovey dovey funny giddy" schmaltzy celluloid tripe like "Who's Getting Married(Then Divorced) My Ass" or "Sunday in my Crabs" or "Never Been Fisted" with Owen Wilson, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, Adam Sandler, Ashton Kutcher etc etc etc

I was going to make a comment about Bay inserting another shot from his other timeless cinematic classic...but I could not come up with another of his flicks that falls into that category. In fact, I am now bleeding out the ears.

Bay has always been a hack and Spielberg as well as anyone else who associates themselves with this artless twat instantly decimates their own credibility.

It's ironic. The cartoon movie came out about that long ago, was basically made for children, was a cartoon, and ended up more thought provoking then what we get now.

The movies now are made for more mature audiences, have greater effects that can be added to them, and have come out basically like crap.

It's hard it seems for anybody to be able to make a creative work good anymore. Not only can't we make many good things but we have to feed off of good things from the past that we fondly remember and take a dump on them and make what they are worse while doing it.

It could also be from all those people that haven't seen it yet and don't have the option for somebody else to tell them how much the movie sucked. Of course, really, how good could people have expected Transformers 3 to be in the first place. :1orglaugh

Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
maybe he made "The Island" so he could have stock footage for "Transformers 3"

(which, by the way, is incredibly disappointing)

Wait... since when has 'The Island' ever been considered awesome?

Is this how far we've come people!?

^This.

T3 wasn't very good storywise, but the action was pretty good, but that's all you are going to get.

It was definitely better than the second movie, but that really isn't saying that much. And forget seeing this in 3D.It really doesn't add anything to the movie other than getting a headache.

Overall, this is a *meh* movie that really isn't worth the hype or the continued conversation.
