What difference does it make? Nobody is keeping him from saying whatever the fuck he wants to. TNA has bigger financial problems. Pulling something that nobody wants to see anyways to avoid a backlash is the only business decision that has made any sense in years. They should want to distance themselves from Hogan on the grounds of how bad he fucked up the company. He always has been and always will be a self serving prick. So once again I say fuck Hogan.

How pathetic do you have to be to rely on cut and paste in a wrestling thread? You can't even form your own opinion here? This is what it comes down to, it's called Karma. Hogan made a career out of stabbing people in the back and holding other people back. He refused to work with Flair in WWE during Ric's first run because he didn't want to be exposed as a no talent hack even though Flair could make anybody look better than they were. So now someone stabs him in the back and we're supposed to feel sorry for him? I don't think so.

The TNA family is saddened by news of the passing of professional wrestling legend, Roddy Piper.
Piper appeared with TNA in 2003 and 2004, and in recent years many of TNA’s Stars appeared on Piper’s popular podcast.
Our condolences go out to Roddy’s family during this time of loss.

Breaking: Impact Wrestling Star Bram Arrested; Suspended Indefinitely, TNA Comments

TNA Wrestling has issued the following, revealing Impact Wrestling star Bram was arrested and will be indefinitely suspended from the company and sanctioned events:

TNA has been advised by the Gulfport, Florida Police Department that Thomas Latimer, known as Bram, has been arrested and charged with two felony counts of domestic battery and false imprisonment. TNA is working to gather facts and obtain additional information related to the arrest.

“The charges against Thomas Latimer are serious, and he is immediately and indefinitely suspended from any future TNA-sanctioned events awaiting the outcome of the case,” said TNA Executive Vice President of Television and Talent John Gaburick.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office booked Bram on two felony charges; one for domestic battery by strangulation, and another for false imprisonment. Pinellas County says Latimer is still awaiting trial.

Bram (Thomas Latimer) was released from jail on Tuesday on $5,000 bond for charges of domestic battery and $1,000 bond for false imprisonment.

WWE vs. TNA Over James Storm?

Despite his appearance at the NXT TV tapings Thursday night, James Storm is reportedly not under contract and has an offer with TNA on the table. Pro Wrestling Sheets reports that Storm was given an offer by TNA for a new deal last week which would involve a big pay bump. He was considering the offer when he decided to visit the NXT house show in Nashville to visit with friends. When there, Storm was offered a ticket to head to Orlando for NXT TakeOver: Respect in order to talk about working with WWE.

According to the site, WWE wants Storm to sign a deal similar to the one Samoa Joe has, but that no agreement has been signed as of this time. WWE has indicated they want him for the next tapings. TNA is said to have offered Storm even more money than the initial offer to re-sign with them, and Storm is considering his options at this time.

TNA Reinstates Bram


TNA’s John Gaburick posted the following on Twitter, noting that TNA has reinstated Bram from his suspension, noting that all charges in his arrest had been dropped. Bram, real name Thomas Latimer, was arrested on August 31st and charged with two felony counts of domestic battery and false imprisonment. Following the arrest, TNA had suspended Bram indefinitely, so that they could “gather facts and obtain additional information related to the arrest.”

The charges were dropped as the Prosecutor has declined to press charges. Bram’s lawyer Brandon M. Daniels released the following statement…

“Our office is pleased to announce that Mr. Latimer’s case has been successfully resolved, resulting in a decision by the State Attorney’s office whereby they have declined to prosecute our client on the aforementioned charges. Our office has always maintained that once the entirety of the facts, evidence and witness statements are brought forth, our client would be exonerated of the allegations.”

Destination America “Re-Evaluating” Programming Decisions? Could It Impact ROH and TNA?

The recent change in regime at Destination America has some hoping for more of a future for Impact Wrestling and ROH on the network.* The WON reports that DA general manager Mark Etkind recently left the company and the network is currently evaluating all its programming decisions.*

Etkind was the executive who called for wrestling to be eliminated from Destination America, which he decided after Dixie Carter sent her now-infamous email to Discovery Network executives where she said he was an idiot for not releasing DVR ratings the way that Spike TV sometimes did.

While there is no suggestion that Destination America will be keeping wrestling, the fact that a new person is in charge means that there is a sliver of hope.* At this time though, people in TNA are still under the impression they will finish up on the channel in January, while ROH says they are awaiting word on their future with Destination America.

Michael Bennett and Maria Kanellis

According to sources, Michael Bennett & Maria Kanellis are getting guaranteed deals with TNA.
As reported over the weekend, the two finished up with ROH at Final Battle and the TV tapings and told people they were headed to TNA.

The real-life couple’s deals will allow them to work TNA’s schedule as well as indie bookings.
They are making significantly more money than they made with ROH, with the exception of the Young Bucks.
It is believed that the deal will prevent them from returning to NJPW.
