Good for you guys. Contrary to the opinions of all the judgmental negative nancies here, this isn't some big, evil deal-breaking act. Thousands of us in the lifestyle do this all the time and have long, secure and happy relationships. And we're successful because we practice good communication and don't have possessive jealousy issues. It sounds like you two did it right; you talked about it, explored your feelings beforehand, came to an understanding of boundaries and expectations. Good job. Even if you never do this again, continue to practice the lessons in communication you surely learned going into this; they'll only make you both stronger.

I think we'll definitely be doing this again. Last night we talked about taking the guy up on his offer and having one more night of fun before he leaves on Tuesday. I'm cool with whatever decision she makes, but between you and I, I'm kind of hoping we end up giving it another go. Like you, I get rock hard just thinking about it.
In the future, it won't be so easy. It's not like she could just walk up to some random good looking guy and say, "Hey,would ya like to take a blood test and then fuck me in front of my boyfriend?" Well technically, she actually could do that, but that's not what we're looking for.
And you're right, communication definitely is they key. By the time we actually decided to do this, we both talked about exactly what we want and hope to get from this experience...and it matched up exactly and worked out perfectly.

Well, I started the thread knowing some people would think this is insane, so anybody should feel comfortable commenting whatever way they like. But seriously, thanks for the best wishes.
We're actually very serious. We always said we weren't really into the idea of marriage, but we're both starting to see that we're warming up to the idea. And like I said, we really are a couple of nerds, so if/when I pop the question, maybe I can get away with giving her a Green Lantern ring instead of a diamond
Time will tell if we, or really, I, fucked up and went somewhere I never should have. But if that's not the case, this will turn out to be one of those extra little bonuses in our relationship that can bring us some extra occasional fun and excitement.

Are you and your gf thinking of trying it? If you are, I hope you spend a lot of time thinking about it. We agreed that we would try it a while ago but I really never thought we actually would. But I got the ball rolling when the opportunity popped up. An early Christmas present for the both of us :o:o
Ummm, it was just exciting and fun. We were nervous!!! That’s maybe what made it so fun. We were like little kids doing something that everybody warned us not to do.
But it turned out to be a really fun experience and Dan and I had a blast.The man we asked to join us on Friday night was kind of like a big sex toy and nothing more. I know that sounds bad, but that’s how it was. After he and I did the…ummm…deed, he acted like he wanted to stay around and hang out with us in the hotel room. So I kind of feel a little bad that we wanted him to leave but I made it clear what we wanted when I first asked him if he was interested.
That was the only thing that felt weird afterwards. I never had a one night stand when I was single. I never had sex just to have sex. So asking a guy to leave after we screwed was awkward. I don’t know how you men do it!!! :tongue: Dan and I talked about trying it again last night, but I think it would have been too weird.

I think I actually feel closer to Dan than I did before and that's saying somethin' because we're already closer than I ever thought two humans can be. Exactly. It's such a foreign concept in today's society that people who haven't dabbled simply can't begin to understand. I'm not surprised that you two feel closer; same happened for us. Most folks who have issues afterward were also lacking in proper communication beforehand. You guys did it right.
