First I think the way they catch the predators is a bit wrong. They use perverted justice to chat with pervs posing as 14 yo girls or boys. First, "decoys" ask for sex first most of the times. Isn't this entrapment? If a young girl asking a lonely older man to have sex isn't entrapment, then how you call it? The baits that they use are I think over 18 but they look younger...they also send photos of the bait and phone calls. But, excluding some cases, why should a 14 yo girl/boy invite a stranger to his house after 2 or 3 chat sessions? Can't the predators realize by theirselves that it's a trap? But they are pervs, so...
I agree all or the most of the men busted are sick fucks, but the second thing that I don't actually like of the show is that they don't actually get arrested. Maybe some got arrested for other crimes ( like the one who stole the van or the one with the ******* *** ), but the most simply get in trouble with the Megan's Law, which is actually pretty useless ( one of the predator busted on the show was already a registered offender, but this wasn't enough to attempt sex with another ******** girl ), if not for knowing if a man is a predator or not.
But TCAP sometimes is funny...for example that episode in which a mexican man going to date a 13 yo boy was owned by Chris Hansen ( he rocks :hatsoff: ) and, with a fucked up accent, he said that he wasn't gay :rofl:
