On a more serious note: posting religious stuff on a site like this is a waste of time because nobody really wants to discuss religion here (in fact, you actually can´t "discuss" religion at all). I find it interesting to enhance my knowledge about things whenever I can. But a thread like this doesn´t get me interested and I dare to say that the same is true for the majority of the people posting here.

However, with regards to the other (closed) Islam threads and contrary to the "f*ck off, terrorist" replies there, I think it´s very important to repeat, that Islam != Terrorism.

I disagree with the Islam being the equivalent of terrorism. I do say that I believe that just like (ancient) Judaïsm and (medieval) Christianity, it's a VERY intolerant religion (not strange considering that people who follow one of these religions say there's only 1 god, so everyone who believes in another god must be wrong & either be converted or punished (this can be any punishment, including death)).

There's a difference between discussing religion (ie: a deeper analysis of news stories - looking beyond the headlines) and being force-fed religion (be it Islam, Judeo-Christianity, Taoism, Buddhism, etc).

Don't take this the wrong way, but I don't think I need to be told that I should read up about Muhammad. Besides access to the Internet, I also have a copy of the Qur'an. If I wanted to discuss Islam further, I would send a PM.

IMO it's not religion that is the problem, it's the interpretation of said religion by others.

That symbol "!=" is a useful query term in many OSs. Others= "&&" and, "||" or, "==" equal to and so on....

Any thread referring to islam is bound to attract the attention seekers of the muslim faith.

God never existed. There is no such thing as a God (unless you are fooking super at shagging). Religions see God as a human image when humans existed billions of years after dinosaurs became extint. God mustve been pre-dinosaur and I can't imagine what a pre tyrannasaurus rex would be doing with a turban.
