Tips for falling asleep fast.

Turn off all tv and computers about an hour before you'd like to fall asleep. Then relax in your bed with the lights off or dimmed and relax and decompress, maybe do some breathing exercises. Works for me...

I was going to suggest you could snuggle up next to a good looking woman, but then again maybe that could have the opposite effect and keep you awake all night.

Ball-Peen Hammer?

I find playing episodes of The Simpsons on my comp. helps me, I usually don't make it past the first episode, as long as Superintendent Chalmers isn't in it.

have you tried meditation?

also, try drinking a glass of warm milk. warm milk has tryptophan in it that is a natural muscle relaxer...it's also in turkey meat.

it sounds like a wives tale but my cousin swears by warm milk.

Well then your cousin is on crack, because that's BS.

It would take like 30 glasses of milk for this trick to actually work.

Watch the olympics?

Run around in a circle for a couple of hours, works for my dog.

Lie down, close eyes, DO NOT ACCESS FREEONES.

Switch off all computers and televisions.
If you still can't sleep after 30 minutes, put the radio on to a political debate.
Try to clear your mind... I doubt this will be a challenge :p

Its not the milk so much as the warmth of the milk that helps I have found. Or a nice cup of hot tea. Its more about relaxing then what it is your drinking.

Either that or go get injured so your body needs to heal. Works every time.

In this order;

Ok, here´s a great one =

Listen to audiobooks. I´m a big fan of audiobooks. I listen to them when I drive, clean the house or take the train. There is only one problem: I can´t even listen to them in bed or when I sit down. I usually fall asleep after a few minutes. I fall asleep even faster when I listen to audiobooks in foreign languages. It takes me a few minutes to fall asleep while listening to English audiobooks (Even very thrilling ones). This is very annoying, due to the fact that I have to search for the exact position when I wake up the morning. Seriously try this. I can recommend Stephen King audiobooks to you (the old recordings).
