I love thunderstorms, most of my ****** does actually, nothing quite like the majestic power and awesome ***** of nature. I also love tornadoes but have never had the opportunity to see one yet... I've been extremely close while traveling but for some reason each time (4 times I've been close enough to see them) it's been to dark each time to see them. Luckily they were out where they caused no damage.
Thunderstorms - Yes; provided I'm not flying into one.
Tornadoes--No. There's a BIG difference between watching them on The Weather Channel and living in the Plains states where these things can ruin your life. No thanks. I'll have to suffice with watching Mike Bettis of the Weather Channel come up empty with the Vortex 2 Tornado Chase Crew....
I like watching them roll in over Lake Erie. It's kind of tripped out to watch the bolts of lightning blasting the water. I didn't particularly like it when I was ON the lake, trying to hammer back to the dock before **** hit the fan, but sitting on the dock, locking out is cool.
Agreed. I often fear the same. It only takes a very small voltage spike...good to see UPS devices becoming more prevalent and consumer-priced. (Having said that, I still don't have one
